My vote goes to ass. The play module is WAY too complicated and the system for joining games (mwsplay etc) is absolutely anal. At least they managed to get rid of the "pass button." Thoughts?
EDIT: @ jacob, if you have mws on your computer, just go to "autoupdate" and it will automatically install the new version, along with new card sets, etc. The differences arent so profound that they would be extremely evident on a screenshot--better for people who already have mws to DL and comment.

I love it. I don't understand your logic for it being too complicated

I really like how the pending games are centrally located on the bottom now. That's really nice. The different word buttons work out very well. Everything is clearer.
The one problem I have is if I click twice on a game approval, the game disconnects. I'll just have to be careful.

I think it's kind of annoying in some ways, but great in others. "End my turn" makes a lot more sense than "Pass", but being used to Pass by now, I keep going to click and not seeing the button.
Other than that, having all empty games located at the bottom, and being able to reject (unwanted) people who try to join is great.

Being able to reject is awesome. I notice that while cards are in play, if they have a long name, that name will be cut off after the second line.
Also, I LOVE the "Update List" button. I hated scrolling through all the current games to find the ones not yet full.
Does anyone know what's the deal with the shuffler?

My first few games I played on the newer version seemed flaky. It kept crashing and I am not sure why, but after a while it seemed to correct itself, really strange. But other than that I really like this new version.
The update list button is nice, and the customizable text buttons are really cool. The Pass button was always stupid in my mind because when I fist started using MWS I would play a spell and hit Pass (Thinking I was passing Priority) and my opponent would start playing spells. It was really pissing me off until I figured out Pass meant End My Turn, so at least that is fixed for the next set of MWS users.
The Note feature though is probably the best addition. Now when someone plays Meddling Mage or Pithing Needle you can write a note on the card. This was a very needed feature in my opinion.
The shuffler is still trash though. I was playing last night in a UBA Stax versus ChronStax post sideboard match-up and I had 2 Seal of Cleansings and 2 Viashino Heretics in my deck. In two games I never seen any of them and in each game I went through half my freak'n deck. What are the odds of that happening?
Now if they could only force people to use the turn bar and play with phases I would be happy, even with a sub-par shuffler.

The shuffler definitely took a turn for the worse. In two consecutive games I was handed triple-MWS draws. My opponent in the other gaqme had (IIRC) triple Ravager and double Skullclamp.
Other than that, it's nice. I don't like the delays when I enter games. -Slay

I really like it, and I especially like how the shuffler now prevents spamming. Being able to reject people is great, so when I say "N only" Joe Random cannot join.

After a shuffler throwdown on the MWS forums, the guy said the shuffler would be fixed...

It's too late, you've riled them.
I would also like to register my enjoyment of the notes. Jolly good.

The new custom buttons are good. I had played a game vs Cssamerican where I got a lol for putting Hi as a custom button, but it's still fun. The notes are good, for more than the things mentioned obviously. The shuffling delay speed is really annoying. I wish it would be faster. And I still get horrible hands. If I don't keep my first hand, the remaining hands are complete ass.

Its excellent ... I enjoy the fixed Shuffler, the customizable button chat, and the fact that you can't save Ip's. I also enjoy the new MWS play interface where the user waiting for a game has to confirm again before the game starts. This saves time for people who just start games and leave. Does anyone still use apprentice?

Does the current shuffler make cards like Flame Burst, Kindle, Aether Burst, and their ilk better?
I liked the limit on shuffling. I always found my opponent holding ctrl s for a few seconds to be annoying.

It wouldn't be a problem if you only shuffled at the beginning of a game but with fetches and Survival and stuff it gets really annoying.

I don't see why. The time it takes to stop looking at your library for a card is plenty for the shuffle thing to reset. Compulsive shuffling isn't important, is it? It does feel good to shuffle x times. My x is 3.
