Yes, they are fetchable, but it will cost you three life to put it into play untapped.  However, you can fetch eot and put it into play tapped and untap during your upkeep.  They will definately be amazing in the new standard.  However, I doubt they will have much impact on type one.

I do agree that the art is really nice.  I can't wait to pick up asian foil ones.

Dandan likes these. Probably not for Vintage as fetchies and multilands are better but still far stronger than I thought Wizards would make them. CIPT isn't so bad when you have the option of using them immediately. Obviously the artwork on the above card is excellent (must try not to put it in decks with IA Forests).

Nice lands! I wonder if the mana symbol in the background will be used for the new mana symbols for the cc of the cards (you know, the "pay G or W" kind).

I think they are pretty awesome, definitely as awesome as they could get.
Yea, the 3 life when they are fetched is sizable, but indeed, fetching EOT takes care of that and well, they really couldnt make them better, without just reprinting duals, or have some sort of seperate fetch life cost.

Good job Wizards!

I love the cool guild mana symbol in the background. They make FCG and Fish a little more budget attainable, and I could see at some point in the future getting played by someone who might want to run more than four of one Dual (HINT: Every deck that wants to run [card]Root Maze[/card] as primary disruption). Landstill might play one or two since it really isn't that fond of the thinning effect created by fetchlands, but you can bet no Dragon player will ever glance at these things, they are awfull Smile

How are these going to be reprinted?  Are they doing all 40 also?

Most likely only 10, corresponding with the number of Guilds in the storyline of Ravicna block.

Paraphrased from rancored_elf over on MTGSalvation:
The other three duals in the first Ravinca set are:
Overgrown Tomb (Land - Swamp Forest)
Sacred Foundry (Land - Mountain Plains)
Watery Grave (Land - Island Swamp)

The three in the next set are:
Land - Plains Swamp
Land - Mountain Forest
Land - Island Mountain

Which leaves for the final set:
Land - Island Forest
Land - Swamp Mountain
Land - Plains Island

I will break into your house while you aren't home and disguise myself as a chair. Then I will leave before you get home, but there will be a place at your table where I was a chair and you will wonder why there isn't a chair there. Then later I will leave the chair disguise on your doorstep and you will realize what has happened and you will be afraid all the time. Helter Skelter mother fuckers!

It also helps with limited.  It would suck if 10 of the rares in the set where lands.

Yeah, I love cracking a rare land in Kami draft.  There are 18 rare lands in the block.  I get at least 6 or 7 every time I draft.  First pick goodness Very Happy

They make FCG and Fish a little more budget attainable

<rant>IMO $20 dollars for a taiga is budget.  That is like a really good type 2 card.  Unlike type 2 cards, the upside is you can use it beyond the next two years and it holds a value.  I don't want to hi jack this thread or anything, but I do not understand the constant struggle to play magic and not have good cards.  Good cards are very often expensive.  But good cards are usually going to be good for a long time.  IF you are a good player, you will make many times the cost of your cards back from winning tournaments.  I know I've made back what I spent on my set of power/duals at least 10 fold already.  Sorry, I had to get that off my chest.  Now on to my point.</rant>

The best type 2 cards are usually between 15-20.  I see these being worth quite a bit.  Lets take a look at some good ones from Kami block.

Cranial Extraction is $20
Jitte is $20
Needle is $23

Needle seems the most similar to these new lands.  Both are playable in every format.  Both are inexpensive ways of doing something well.  Common sense would tell me they will be worth more than fetchlands.  Polluted Delta is $14 on SCG and they're out of stock.  The question is, how much will these be worth?

The question is, how much will these be worth?
My guess is that for a few weeks after the prerelease, they'll sit around $25-$30 a piece, then drop to $20-$25 for the ones that people will be playing with in various formats, and $10-$20 for the others.  Eventually the more useful ones will drop to around $20 and the less useful ones will sit around $10-$15.
