Sup Drainers and Workshoppers!
This past weekend was incredible and I'll never forget how much fun I had in each of the four tournies I played. Thanks to all who supported me at the championships and for all the props on this topic. I'll be putting together a decent report in my sparetime this week when I don't have to work. Damn the real world!Â
You know as Champion of all that is Vintage format you're expected to write a huge tournament report and Chang stax primer Conrgats on the win, you're the man!

I just wrote the first post at 3:30 am after playing all day and celebrating with my friends at the ram til last call. I edited my original post.
Hale
I spent much time trying to find some peeps to come sink some beers with me all weekend. I think next year merits some better preparation and bringing some locals who know a good brew when they see it. Waterbury will be a good practice, I suppose. Great job anyway. I really didn't feel I was lucky enough to get anywhere this time around, and my play all weekend was rather suspect. Thought I'd really underlined it playing for a low T16 spot at 4-2, when game 2 I removed his Tinker and Chain of Vapoured his Colossus, then died to 6 straight Mana Crypt hits. Brassman was kind enough to point out to me that I'd died with a 2nd Chain of Vapour in hand...

I finished 11th in the main event with a meandeck gifts varient Nice finish, Kyle. I'm glad you didn't end up playing RTS  I lost to assymmetrical information and faulty assumptions Wait, asymmetrical information in a game of imperfect information? I don't understand. Were the faulty assumptions directly based on said information and its asymmetrical nature? Man, it sounds like the CO crew are bad-ass magic players and pimps to boot! How ironic that Bowers is in town at the same time as this thing.

Not in-game information, but assumptions about what my opponent was playing based upon my clearly erroneous scouting information that I conducting during the first two rounds.

We didn't implode, we simply found a better game. Short Bus is still around, we'll be in Richmond as usual...luckily our guild doesn't run an raids that day so we should be able to make it.

While I was at Gencon, I accidently walked through the Worlds of Warcraft booth because the aisles were all full. I felt it sucking me in and I heard the cries and lamentations of the Type 1 Community, and the former members of the now conquered Team Short Bus. There was wailing and gnashing of teeth, as the former superstars were cast out into the darkness, and locked in the dungeons of video game hell. It was a sad experience, to say the least.

Normal people feel that way about magic players. The only thing sad about WoW is how many D2ers it drags in.

I wish someone had played tidal gifts though, I liked the look of that. Did anyone take it up?

World of Warcraft, bitches!
To say World of warcraft is better than Vintage Magic is a total shame. I think it's a cop out. I've played WoW before.

http://www.thehardlessons.com/I will break into your house while you aren't home and disguise myself as a chair. Then I will leave before you get home, but there will be a place at your table where I was a chair and you will wonder why there isn't a chair there. Then later I will leave the chair disguise on your doorstep and you will realize what has happened and you will be afraid all the time. Helter Skelter mother fuckers!
