2, pay 2 life:  Remove a poison counter from yourself.  Any player may play this ability.

This is in the Aztec/Poison master list. I was thinking it should maybe be worded as: 'lose a poison counter' since the counters are not actually 'on' the players. This would introduce some difficulties in some other cards, though.

That's functionally different, though. Are you proposing that? It makes it much stronger in multiplayer, and also if a player has True Believer out he can't heal himself.

I'm not really proposing it. It's not my card. I was just throwing out the cleanest wording. I do see how it is different than the original.
