Wow, four Barbarian Rings in the maindeck and sideboard Vroman? Awesome.

I decided sphere of resistance wasnt worth playing as less than 4of. instead I added a 4th crucible and another barbarian ring. crucible is now my favorite card to have resolve. Ive been saying this a lot lately; bazaar + crucible is practicaly an auto win in the control/stax match up. just turbo mill into b-ring/strip/maze, while dropping the best threat out of 4 cards every other turn. extra b-rings is necesary to beat control slaver game 1, and is an elegant stax win condition.

sideboard, I got rid of the 4xmaze aggro defense plan, and the relatively worthless price of glory for good old fashioned red blasts 5 strong. I will probably move to 4xpyro 1x REB just because pyros can be dropped into the yard at will in order to get emergency threshold for b-ring.

Thanks a lot for your explanations! I currently getting ready to sleeve up the new and improved list and see the differences first hand. Uba Stax is just a great deck and I'm glad you're doing so well with it.
