Hot! I might even stick around to compete for those 100 (!!!) duals (just out of curiosity, what's the breakdown? 40/20/10/10/5/5/5/5?)

That breakdown makes a lot of sense.

This looks to be a pretty exciting event for Legacy and I hope it does well so that Pete considers throwing one in the central and/or northern NY area - basically some place that is more accessible to me!  I'm getting quite envious of VA.   Mad

I'm game.  I'll probably roll with UWr Landstill although it testing bears it out, I might be rolling with a completely different, and awesome, control deck.

 Prize Structure:

Its 4 of each for first
 2 of each for second
 1 of each for 3/4
1 of each allied duel for 5/6
1 of each none allied duel for 7/8

which means 7/8 will still get Volc and Trop

Just in case anyone missed today's announcement, 50% of the entry fees collected for this event are now going to be donated to a Hurricane Katrina Relief charity.

See everyone in Richmond.

Technically, it's a deck of my own design. I'll post the list when I get back from Richmond.

BATTLE OF WITS?!?!

Heh, will you at least answer this: is it a variant of something we've seen before, or is it wholly new?

I said "technically" because it's basically a deck that's been seen before, although to my knowledge it has not been successful in Legacy yet.
