Kodiak Champion
{2}{G}{G}
Creature -- Bear Warrior
3/3

Trample
Kodiak Champion can't be blocked by more than one creature.

***

This is just a minor modification on an older green card, Stalking Tiger. The card derives from the name. I wanted to create a Bear Warrior containing the word "Kodiak" in the name. "Champion" seemed to fit well with "can't be blocked by more than one creature ability." In order to make it something other than a pure reprint of Stalking Tiger, I gave it a nominal cost increase and trample, which has a neat synergy with the blocking restriction ability. The rules text on this is sufficiently short that I will come up with some flavour text before I clock this.

Current Wording:

Kodiak Champion
{2}{G}{G}
Creature — Bear Warrior
3/3

Trample
Kodiak Champion can't be blocked by more than one creature.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

From the Green point of view, not charging into a pack of hostile creatures IS an attribute of a champion. White has that whole 'getting your head kicked in but you fought the good fight' thing, Green is about survival of the fittest and stalking until you can attack from a position of strength is fine by me. I agree that Trample is a complimentary ability and fits well.

The way I envisioned it, single combat is very themely for a champion -- yes, even a green one. I don't really see this getting much more discussion, so 24 Hour Clock.
