I'd like to congratulate combo_dude and wicketsnatcher as the winners of 3CB Tournament #64!
Again, it's tight at the top, although the deck that I still think is too fast takes it! Kudos to wicketsnatcher for his deck, which took secondEQUAL FIRST place after not featuring for about 50 3CB tournaments...

Again, you'll notice a question mark in the 9 vs 10 match; advice over this matchup would be appreciated. (EDIT: Has gone in as a draw - thanks Godder.) I'm surprised to see the triple-threat deck of Vineyard/Village/Words do so badly - just too slow in this environment, I think.

Please send decks and Ravnica advice for the next tournament - which WILL run on time! Sorry to all for the poor time-keeping.

Adam

EDIT: Result and winner(s) changed!

It's a draw because Pithing Needle has to neutralise Words of Wilding or lose, and whoever plays Vineyard first, loses, so not playing Vineyard is smart, and Needle shouldn't be played until after WoW is played.

Many thanks for the added kudos - I grinned upon reading the results and listened to The Clash on my way to school for the past couple days in celebration.

Had a change in result (2 vs. 3 should be 3-3, not 6-6) pointed out to me via PM - we have myself and wicketsnatcher as  joint winners!

Did I PM about the 2 vs 9 matchup as well? I think that is 3-3 for the same reason (Bears can endlessly block the Leveller when playing).

Edit: I did realise this was wrong, but I see I didn't get back in time to edit it before anybody read it.  Sad

No, but he's still too slow:

T1: He drops Village, I drop Leveler.
T2: He drops Vineyard, I swing for 10.
T3: He drops Words, I kill him.
