Hey everyone, just checking in on TMD... seems things have slown down a bit. I'm at college and studying a double major in History and Political Science, with a Latin Minor, pre-law. I'm enjoying college life, as well as life without magic... although I do miss cardboard a little. How's everyone doing? Let me know, I'm interested in hearing from my old TMD buddies!

I'm doing well, haven't been peed on since last we spoke.
I'm taking both the Physics GRE and the LSAT. I need to decide if I should go to law school or try for a doctorate in physics - soon!
this is my first stop back here in awhile too... I gotta sell my drains anyone want them?

I was remembering you when I thought of all the TMD old guard who were no longer around. Good to hear that you're enjoying university. Any idea what you'd like to do with your degree? I think it's right that in a decade, most of TMD will be lawyers...

I'm so glad to hear from everyone!
@Dooge- I'm planning on going to law school, but I'm not sure where or what kind of law I'm interested in. Maaaybe corperate, but it's a long way off. I could also do a doctorate in history, I'm not sure.
Regardless, I'm happy to know everyone at TMD is doing well, keep the responses coming theres still alot of people I want to hear from!

Hey Kerz! Glad to year from ya. Nothing too new on my end. I graduated, and am looking for a job and a new place to live (the latter being entirely dependant on the former). I've got a parttime freelance science journalist gig going, and I'm still seeing the same girl. #themanadrain is more boring without you. Step in sometime, just for old time's sake. P.S. Did you get a decent digital photo camera yet? Every time I see a phone cam, I think of the awesome pics you posted on these boards  |

For those who aren't in the NE/Hadley drinking/playtesting/used-to-be into magic scene, this is the game you've been missing all your life. While Ray's Waterbury's are the coup-de-grace of T1 magic, I think what the (especially old-time) magic scene needs is a huge party so everyone can see all their old favorites, and then clinch it with a lively game of speed-quarters. Perhaps pregame (ok, postgame for the pansies) for GenCon this coming summer? Oh yeah, and Kerz, drop the Poli-Sci for Econ, and let me know the next time you have a good Saturday night to sacrifice to the SQ gods. |

I'm taking both the Physics GRE and the LSAT. Point of advice: DO NOT take the Kaplan prep course for the LSAT. I got a 168 on their diagnostic and thought I was all set, since they guarantee your scores will increase after taking their course. Well, I guess they got "increase" confused with "decrease by five points and 8 percentiles." Because that's what I got for investing $1,100 and six weeks in their scam test prep class. |

Hadley guys: I miss you all, I think all of us reuniting would be a truly sick idea. I've been doing a fair amount of boozing since I got to school, and I will definitely be able to keep up . I just made my schedule for next semester, just continuing the basic History track along with some electives: US History II, Western Civ II, History in the Modern World, Elem Latin II, and Expo Writing.
