Second year undergrad at Drexel University, studying Biomedical Engineering. Probably going on to Dental School after that, so I'll be here for a while. Frowns.
I used to go Drexe Univ. Big problem => no women. Sad Which is at least 1/3 of the reason to pursue higher education in the first place. They even conveniently hide this fact in their student profile.

Edit - I blew my 500th post on this... :sigh:

LOL, I never actually saw that profile before.  Anyway, even though in engineering its like -15% female, in Biomed it somehow changes to like +60%.  So I'm not doing too badly here.  Definitely going somewhere else for post-grad stuff though.

I'm 19, currently a senior in Political Science at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. If all goes according to plan, I'll be in the Graduate School of Library and Information Science next fall for a Master's degree.

After that, any prediction would be pure guesswork.

That's because they're not engineers.  They're the worst kind of pre-meds.

I put BA- attending grad school, but really I just graduated and am doing americorps for one year.  I am applying for law school right now.  i sort of consider americorps like an extension of grad school, since I'm a VISTA and write grants and press releases all day which kind feels like writing research papers....

You could likely just say "I'm a janitor at Cambridge and listen in on the lectures sometimes before the booze kicks in" and still be held in high esteem.

I'll have my business degree at the end of this year...

Likely headed to Michigan for my MBA from there... Ugh...

Pac

Bah, you'll love it, pessimist.  A year in Michigan and you'll be singing 'Blame Canada' along with Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

I love how you Yanks stand by that song, even though it was writen by Canadians to satirize how Americans see the rest of the world Razz

I went to highschool, somehow finished (thanks to both the girls who did my homework) and then ended up with a baby and a wife (now growing monster and ex wife) so that was that for school. Now I make too much to make school really worth it.

We didn't listen!!
Honestly Pac, I always thought it was more of a satire towards mothers-against-[insert something here] activist groups, who don't realize that it's the steps they're NOT taking that are causing their kids to be illiterate, violent, deviant, dead, etc.

Illustrated by the line: "before somebody thinks of blaming us!"
But yeah, I can see how that translates extremely well to ridiculing the United States.

I will break into your house while you aren't home and disguise myself as a chair. Then I will leave before you get home, but there will be a place at your table where I was a chair and you will wonder why there isn't a chair there. Then later I will leave the chair disguise on your doorstep and you will realize what has happened and you will be afraid all the time. Helter Skelter mother fuckers!

Masters is 6 years?!?!  Only for people who work when they do the degree.  If you go full-time on it, it should take 1-2 years beyond undergrad (maybe that's what you meant).

Lol, I'm pretty sure that is what he meant. If a typical master's took 6 additional years...I'd rather just be a doctor. But that's EE and math major for you. Just like all the ones I know. Too smart and too logical.

Bardo, why all the college hopping? I hope it is because you enjoyed the college hopping, otherwise that would be rough.

Just finished my BBA (undergrad MBA) from michigan,  and am now stuck in investment banking...oh the horror.
