Who is "vroman" on Magic Workstation?

I have never used MWS in my life. I dont even know what the interface looks like. I have a weak dialup conection and a shitty computer that I have to reinstall windows every other week. the odds of me ever playing MWS are very low.
however, someone using the handle vroman has been playing ubastax online via MWS and presenting themselves as me. plagiarism is the most sincere form of flattery and all that, but its caused confusion and Id really prefer whoever this person is would stop. if you play MWS and you find yourself playing "vroman" tell them they are an imposter and I want them to cease and desist.

The biggest problem with MWS is finding a good opponent. That being said... A strategy that I have seen people use... Is making your user name that of a well known/respected player (like yourself), and then using this technique to get other well known players who usually who have high standards about who they play vs. online (like smennen) join their games.

I have seen people impersonate brassman, smennen, and vroman, and others. However, if I see it I will say something. However, I wouldnt really worry to much about it because most of the players who play on mws are noobs or italians (who just play noob T1t decks). This can be confirmed by everybody on this forum, or on the MWS horror stories topic in the humor forum.

Oh, btw congrats! Wish I could of made it to chicago! However, Clown of Tresserhorn, and Scott Limoges are slow responders.

I hosted a server for tmd people to use a while back, but I stopped when I only saw like 2 people use it over the course of a few weeks.

I don't remember their name, but when I started to play them, they asked me to guess who it was.  I made two guesses and then when they played Uba Mask, I asked if it was Robert, and the way they talked and interacted was very much like your online style so I assumed that it was in fact you.

we should really try that again, the MWS host is getting really populated, and thus often down. and when it isn't, it's inhabited by many people who enjoy seeing their posts on MWS horror stories.

Also, I'm pretty sure all the "name" posters don't use their real handles on MWS. If you run into Hi-Val, it's certainly not me. I think the rest of my team operates on similar principles.

If I am on MWS, I go by JDizzle, but I swore off MWS a while ago because I find it largely a waste of time.  I also don't put much stock in its results, as I don't feel it accurately simulates the real-game experience.  Thus, if you see a JDizzle, it's not me.

I use ]_oTuShEaD on MWS  because it looks kinda cool.

sometime i go incognito as "Pwnan" and other such dumb names because people DO associate me with Salvagers. (why, I don't know..heh.)

I admit that in the past, I have been tempted to use Smmenen, TheAtogLord, PhantomTapeWorm, etc, just to attract quality players.

I played a JDizzle a while back on magic-league using MWS. I beat him 1st round of a Trial (me playing BirdShit, Jdizzle with MDGifts). Was that the real JDizzle? I really want to know if I beat the real guy.
