way long ago i remember reading one of the StarWars books (it was the series post the movies, the empire still kind of exists, they are looking for a lost "black fleet" i think, and are filling up the ships with clones, etc...) and during a space battle Luke reaches out with the force and crumples a gun turret on an enemy ship killing the guy inside.
sure it's "bad", sure its the darkside (I think), but he did it anyways for the "greater good". Now I understand the whole don't do bad stuff for good goals, thats what gets anikin in trouble in the first place, but couldn't yoda be just a little badass, just for a second, and kill palapatine with the force?
For instance, palapatine must be standing on something, why not just fold the floor around him and squeeze. Sure its "bad", sure it might be kinda dark-side, but at this point in time yoda must know the consequence of failure.
Is something like this even possible, or is yoda way too goodie goodie for this sort of thing?

Yoda would use the Force to Throw/Crush Sideous into death.
If Anakin Killed Obi-Wan there would be little to stop him from fighting/killing Yoda. Most Likely Yoda would try and fail to turn him back since he just wants to save Padme and to do this he has to learn the dark side. He would be able to beat Yoda in a 1 on 1 fight remember his powers are far above Yoda's and he is able to use the force much better than before. I do not see him killing Yoda but he would be able to hold him off so he would gain control of the Empire. He then would go out with Sideous plans and take out the Jedi since they are the "Bad guys." Yoda would go into hiding with the 2 Kids and teach them the ways of the force and hope their combined powers would be enough to stop Vader in the end. All in all it would be the same outcome but Luke wouldn't join the rebels with Han Solo so Han wouldn't be there although without Sideous the Death Star might not have been created or maybe it wouldn't have been destroyed.

There seems to be some misunderstanding as to the awesomeness of Yoda, so I'll make a point to help out... If it comes down to a lightsabre duel anywhere in Eps 1-3, Yoda wins, irrespective of opponent. Thus, if Yoda beats Sidious, he beats Anakin as well.

Actually, what if Padme dies sooner and Anakin and Leia are born dead.
Does this mean that there has to be a final confrontation fight to the death between Yoda/Obi-wan and Palpatine/Vader?
If so who actually wins in a two on two straight up fight to the death?

Either A) Vader switches sides, and Palpetine dies, taking Obi-Wan and Yoda with him.
Or
B) Obi-Wan dies early, Yoda kills Vader, but Palpetine lands a cheap shot FTW.

If Watto wasn't a bitch he'd have kept Anakin,who would have died a greasy, old, gamboholic mechanic. So much for your Imperial Domination.
Of course if Samuel L. Jackson wasn't such an arrogant bastard in real life, Mace Windu would have beenwritten as the weak punk that he was intended to be. Then, of course, Sidious would have just dominated the whole movie taking away from Anakin.

There are like infinite ways that yoda could bump off sidious...the books go into great detail about at least 100 different force ways to kill off people without it being from the dark side (sure writers tend to fudge the lines a bit for artistic flair, but it sure reads cool sometimes)
I dont really consider the yoda/dooku fight a draw...it ends up with dooku escaping, but yoda would have normally won if dooku wouldnt have tossed the side of a mountain at anakin and obi wan...
dooku runs like a little bitch while yoda is busy saving two other jedi from dying...yoda would have beaten dooku otherwise and dooku knew it...

Yes, clearly Dooku sucks. Anakin beat his ass in ROTS.
However, it appears that Obi-Wan is a little bit better than Anakin at the end of Sith, and Siddeous is probably a little more powerful than Yoda. (after all Yoda is unable to kill him). All Palpatine has to do at the end of the movie is not lose and he wins, Yoda has to win that turn and can't.
Is the advantage of Obi-Wan over Vader enough to even out the fight for a Jedi Victory over the Sith, or is Palpatine just too bad ass to be killed by Yoda.

I wouldn't say that Obi-Wan is better then Anakin, so much as that he's a better strategist. Also, Obi-Wan seems to be a master of Soresu: the defensive form of "lightsabering". Anakin lets his emotions guide his fighting, which can be hazardous (and was), as he was hell-bent on killing Obi-Wan, and as such was willing to take risks which a good Force user wouldn't take. Yes, I suppose it is true that Obi-Wan was beaten by Dooku, and yet Anakin was able to kill him.
