Check out these auctions:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8723764449&fromMakeTrack=true

http://cgi.ebay.com/MTG-Magic-Beta-Mox-Sapphire-MINT-Auction-1-of-3-L-K_W0QQitemZ8723757991QQcategoryZ49189QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

http://cgi.ebay.com/MTG-Magic-Beta-Ancestral-Recall-MINT-Auction-1-of-3_W0QQitemZ8723762824QQcategoryZ49189QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

They might be real auctions, but it just smells of scam to me.  I don't believe somebody who owns mint beta power would sell them like this and with such low feedback.  What do you guys think?

The lotus is actually a repack auction (3 packs), but he assures that you will get the lotus if you buy all 3. However, he might as well just have a 2nd account (or a friend) who makes sure he wins at least 1 pack, and you'll be stuck with "good stuff" like Morphlings and Serra Avatars... yay!
I wouldn't trust him.

All three are repack auctions by the same fellow. Although there's no way to guarantee that they're scams, I treat all repack auctions for high-profile cards as though they are trying to cheat me. As rvs said, they could have a friend bidding on the third repack and without some way of proving colusion, you could never actually do anything about it.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

hm, i've never thought of that lol. i always see repack = scam, and have never had the balls to just the trigger on easy 3 repack instant lotus deals...

no wonder when people see repack and buy it now they get all excited.

What often happens on repacks where there are 2-20 packs (as opposed to those that have thousands) is that one repack will go to some random, often at an extremely high price.  That pack will inevitably contain the power, and the "random" will be in collusion with the seller.

Does anyone know if this is illegal?

I will break into your house while you aren't home and disguise myself as a chair. Then I will leave before you get home, but there will be a place at your table where I was a chair and you will wonder why there isn't a chair there. Then later I will leave the chair disguise on your doorstep and you will realize what has happened and you will be afraid all the time. Helter Skelter mother fuckers!

If I lived in WI I would buy them, and travel to the guy's house.

When the winning bidder has 0 feedback, do you THINK this might be an example of collusion?  How does this guy not get caught, again?  High volume = low profile?

The best is two fake auction winners one of whom wins ALL of the advertised power in the auction except...yeah that's right...for the one that the other fake bidder wins!  And right above there's a guy who won 8/20 and "randomly" got the shaft in every single pack!  Geez, that's just bad luck, guy...  *tear* that's for you, sucka

Pretty much guaranteed.  I would assume the 0-fb guy's max bid was pretty infinite.
