I saw Fantomas open for Tool, they were terrible. You didn't like the no lyrics thing right? Â Kinda threw me at first but the music is just so good, I've really grown to like them.

A cookie to any one who gets this.
MBM + DHS = TINO
My favorite collaboration is when Jack Dangers (Meat Beat Manifesto) and Ben Stokes (Digital Holophonic Sound) did the Tino Corp. albums. Now Stokes plays in MBM and vice versa for their tours and shows and they often perform Tino stuff in the sets, so essentially the 3 groups became 1 with 3 diff names and multiple record albums. And by groups i mean one man bands/composers with group names. Yay crazy experimental electronic side projects!
For the record A Perfect Circle isn't Maynard's band, he's just the singer in it, it is mostly the creative project of the other guy who is not Maynard.
Yeah and why does Patton have infinite side projects. He even did stuff with The Bordoms, (who also have infinite side projects.)
And why did the Breeders have to have 1 insanely good album and then have one of the Deal sisters put in prison so they never got to release another in a timely fashion?
/ man, music knowledge wank fests are fun.
// My favorite band is so obscure i don't even know what they are called
/// My favorite obscure band that no one's heard of is better than your favorite obscure band no one's heard of.

MBM + DHS = TINO Meat Beat Machine's Jack Dangers is part of a breakbeat-ish group called Tino Corp together with Dimensional Holofonic Sound (D.H.S.) [EDIT] Dammit, you already posted the answer in the remainder of your post. What kind of riddle is it when you post the asnwer right along with it? Man, I really wanted that cookie. Oh well, at least you misspelled 'holofonic' as 'holophonic'

Yeah, because the Glorious Burden fucking rocked so hard. Nothing is more metal than songs about Valley Forge and Gettysburg.
LAME.
To be fair, I think that Alive in Athens might be one of the best live cds that I've ever heard, if not the best. Matt Barlow leaving was a very bad thing for the band, IMO. While Tim Owens isn't bad, I think that Barlow was much better as a singer. You must be mistaken. You clearly mean Iced Earth/Demons & Wizards. Unless you're retarded, in which case, my appologies
No, the original topic was singers with multiple groups. Neither the original singer (don't remember his name, although I remember that he wasn't all that great), nor Matt Barlow (who was much better) sang for Demons & Wizards. That was Blind Guardian's singer, Hansi Kursch. So the orignal Blind Guardian/D&W is correct, given the context of the posed question. On topic, Dark Tranquility traded singers with In Flames. Does that count for anything?

ICED EARTH>blind guardian Yeah, because the Glorious Burden fucking rocked so hard. Nothing is more metal than songs about Valley Forge and Gettysburg. Iced Earth is not greater than Blind Guardian. But The Glorious Burden was a pretty good album. The subject matter was different than most metal albums, but that is refreshing. Things don't need to be all swords/sorcery, agression, death, etc. I thought it was quite refreshing. There were a few weak songs, but Valley Forge, all the Gettysburg songs, Waterloo, and a few others were quite good. But the reason Blind Guardian is better than Iced Earth is that BG evolves while IE is pretty stagnant. Seriously, Schaffer needs to write some new riffs sometime. Not to mention I think BG, while perhaps not more technically skilled, is one of the best bands when it comes to composition of songs.

So did you read that in your Rolling Stone or Spin magazine? Actually Brian, Josh Minore and I have been listening to Postal service/ deathcab while stoned out of our gourdes since before you were born. So to answer your question, no we are not bandwagon pop lovers. On a sidenote: I don't actually know of any more good side projects than the ones currently listed in this forum, but A Perfect Circle has a remixed CD called Amotive and its savage as all hell if you like any combination of Techno, Tool, and a perfect Circle.

NO. I dont think that really counts as a side project because Anders has been with In Flames ever since he left DT. On a side note, I am rather suprised no one has mention General Patton vs. The X-ecutioners. That is some good shit right there.

So, this one time, MIKE JONES was featured on a song by the Ying Yang Twins. Does that count?
How about Krayzie Bone and Ice Cube? Jigga and R. Kelly?

If trading/losing singers counts then I gotta go with Phil Labonte who was in Shadow's Fall and now fronts All That Remains.

Gotta throw in Jeff Magnum for Neutral Milk Hotel and Olivia Tremor Control; Elliot Smith for his solo work and Heatmiser; Kathleen Hannah for Le Tigre and Bikini Kill (baby oh baby); Dough Martsch for Built to Spill, Tree People and Halo Benders; Conor Oberst for Bright Eyes and Desaparcidos, and of course, Jenny Lewis for Rilo Kiley and her starring role in the Nintendo-related epic, "The Wizard"

Bloodbath is great death metal by the way. There is no such thing as good Death Metal. The singers tend to not be able to sing. I can grunt and scream out of tune aswell, so maybe I should form a band.
