Round 3 Was against me.

Game 1 you got the nutz with a Land in your starting hand since I would have needed 3 Forces to stop you from going off that turn.

Game 2 I got a Welder, Drain up, A slaver while you were trying to set up a kill.  I have a ton of blue open and 2 Drains in hand.  You Spoils for the lotus which killed you.

Game 3 Another Nutz hand you draw the Delta and Tropical and do that egg into Chromatic Dark ritual here and there.  I never draw a Force in both games 2 and 3 I just had Drains and welders which aren't too bad since a Slaver activation is game.

All 3 Games you got 1 or both Lands down without Land Granting.  I forced a Land grant Game 1 or 2 and you just dropped a land on me the next turn.  anyway Great job on the finish and hope you get the prize you earned.  And adding some disruption would allow the deck to be more competitive and not roll to a FoW as much even though with the hands you draw that didn't seem to work.

Hey Mike,

It was great to meet you and welcome to the Vintage scene.  I was hoping to really play you during the tournament, since we intentionally drew in the 5th round.  Our test games were pretty ridiculous I must say.  Didn't you get like 2/3 first turn kills on me?  What's a stax player to do against that?!

You should definitely try to make it to the midwest tournaments sometime if you get the chance.  There is a decent amount of Legacy played alongside Vintage events.

Nice report!

Yo Herbig - Aren't you glad I convinced you not to play Solidarity? (Not that it took much convincing...)  Changster's right, the two of us should consider making a trip or two out to the midwest for some events.  Let me know if you're up for it.  Congratulations on the tournament!

Lany C. Laroche received a Walk something like 2-3 weeks ago.
If I understood correctly what Lany told me, Ben Kowal received a Lotus and a Walk (instead of Twister), because the guy feel bad for not having the power at the tournament...
I don't know for the others.

Nice report, well done man.  Grimlong FTW!  (or 7th)

I like the repeal tech as well, so many damn bounce spells.

Somebody tell Chapin how counterbalance works?
