I am looking for people to play with that live in or near the Northwest of Connecticut. I play at a local card shop (Bristol) but most people there do not play respectable vintage decks for me to playtest against. There are a few people that I play with that are good players and would like to have stiff competition to play against. Anyone interested in contacting me either PM or email me. Email is joe_tank76@yahoo.com

Thanks

When you say Bristol do, you mean Omni? I live Wethersfield and play at the Omni Comics and Cards there. However, for good competition, if its not too far a drive, is Sam's in Meridan. Good people (both socially and playskillwise), weekly Type 1 tournies, and a fun time.

Yeah I was referring to Omni. Im there practically every Tuesday. When do they play at Sams? I would need directions there but it may be worth a try. The only thing is I am busy Monday and Wednesday nights already so, the day of the week would make a difference. How far from Bristol is it?

You can find people playing Vintage on Tuesday nights and there are usually tournaments on Thursday nights if attendance is high enough.

Go to http://samscomicbookshop.com/  The contacts link has the address and even a directions link on the bottom.

Ignore his hours that he posts.  Usually the crowd on Tuesday arrives between 6-7 and stays till whenever.  There's role-playing usually going on that night so poeple are there till around midnight.  Tursday is about the same times.

Say hi if you stop in, I usually have vintage decks on me.

Dude you should definatly come on Thursdays to Sams.  The T1 Regulars are starting to fairying out and Drafting *waves his hands around like a fair*

BOO DRAFT!! - Theres only one true type of magic and its Type1!
The past 3 times Jer and I have treked out to Meridan we've only had like 6 or 7 willing to play T1.  Also its more or less unlimited proxy, so its great for testing decks before you trade/buy the cards.  If you came I think we could con "persuade" a solid 8 ppl into playing.  If you bring friends we can have a good tourny!
Correct me if im wrong but its $5 to enter, generally winner takes the big chunk of the pool and 2nd takes a small chunk of the pool in store credit.  So its low pressure, and great for testing crazy decks.
