On Sunday, March 12, Magic-League.com will be holding a Legacy master.  Play is with Magic Workstation.  The tournament will begin promptly at Noon EST (11 CST) and entries should be open for about a half hour preceding it.  The format will be Swiss, with a cut to top 8.

The winner will receive $90 in store credit for any online MTG store that accepts PayPal.  The runner-up will receive $40 in store credit.

Magic-League.com holds Masters tournaments every 2 weeks, for store credit.  Byes are also awarded based on league performance and team placement.  Entry is always FREE!

The official announcement can be found here.

Also, if you're using IRC to connect to us, use irc.solidirc.com and join #magic-league and #master.  Otherwise, feel free to use the site; we have a Java applet that connects you as well.

lightning edit: sorry for the short notice; I have only just realized that some people here may not already know about this.

Thanks for putting it on, you guys are awesome.

But seriously, that top 8 (and the meta there) is so freaking wacky. I'm glad Life won, that has always been a favorite of mine - and the WW list is also nice, I have something with a few similarities in the works Wink .

I'm also glad at least one Thresh deck made it past the swiss, I wasn't sure if it would happen.

Again, thanks for putting this on

P.S.  So when's the next 1.5 Master? Razz
