So, I've always wanted to make an Asmoranomardicodaistinaculdac ar theme deck, but unfortunetely, there are only two cards that mention Asmoranomardicodaistinaculdac ar, and one of them's unhinged. So, instead, I wanted to widen it to a deck themed around cooking. So, with that in mind, here are the rules:

-Each card has to do with cooking, in some way. Preferably, make it obvious references.
-Un- sets are usable, but there has to be a good reason. I'm using Sautee, but I'd be open to more if there was a good reason.
-The deck will be two colored, one of them will be red, and my first choice would be blue for the second color, but I'm open for others if more cards are apparent in that color.
-Unless absolutely necessary, I'd like the cards to be at least sub par. I really don't wanna use Ice Cauldron, but I will if necessary.

So, right now, all I've got is:

Char
Granite Gargoyle
Saute
Fork!

and maybe Ice Cauldron

Can anyone help me come up with a cooking themed deck? I would much appreciate it!

I think a perfect addition to your deck would be the famous [card]sizzle[/card]! Another great card would be [card]Slice and Dice[/card].

Fist off Slice and dice = genius.  I love that.

I think Blue might not be the best color... I would think black or green.

Here is what I could come up with...

Boil
Bottle Gnomes <-- Great flavor text for this deck
Feast or Famine
Feast of the Unicore
Hungry Mist
Bounty of the Hunt
Drop of Honey
Rock Lobster
Butcher Orgg
Faceless Butcher
Burnt offering

After Thoughts:
Doubling"Season"  --- eh? Anybody? It's ok I'll be here all night ladies and gentelmen.
Sowing Salts
Harvest Wurm
Ghitu Fire-Eater
Consuming Furiocity
Unnatural Hunger
Meltdown
Seed Time
Mind Peel
Peel from Reality
Nantuko Husk
Time of KNEAD <-- No? Too far =P
Brow Beat
Stir the Grave (Stir the Pride)

I guess some of my list has more to do with Eating than with cooking ... but hey, we all know what the most fun part of cookings is =P
Come on!  Bottle gnome, Stir the Grave, Fork ... thats combo!

Hunger of the Nim is awful
He Who Hungers would make a fine centerpiece (Very Happy!) for the deck.
Vicious Hunger is likely to be your best card

Awesome, I love Bottle Gnomes and Slice annd Dice, and Vicious Hunger is good too. I think that this deck is probably leaning towards R/B. The only blue card I can think of is Muddle the Mixture, so unless more cards from blue are uncovered, it looks like B/R.

Cards that I like, and look like they could be part of the deck:

Char
Granite Gargoyle
Saute
Fork!
Sizzle
Slice and Dice
Vicious Hunger
Feast or Famine
Butcher Orgg
Faceless Butcher
Bottle Gnomes
Ghitu Fire Eater
Mon's Goblin Waiters- Maybe
Stir the Grave- Only for its insane combo potential!
Feast of the Unicorn-Although its power level is a bit low, even for this deck

I think He who hungers is a good idea, but I don't know of any other spirits I could use in this deck. I an also intrigued by the drop of honey route I could take, but I'm not sure if we could find enough synergistic green cards that are flavorful for this deck. I would consider Burnt  Offering, but so far, the few creatures I have don't want to be offered, and the only reason I use it would be for an X spell. Which brings us to the point that an X spell would be kinda useful for this deck.

I just thought of consume spirit and nourishing shoal, which both work flavorwise, but consume spirit needs a lot of black mana, and I'm not taking the green route yet, unless we can find more green flavored cards, like small creatures.

Anyways, keep 'em coming, it would be cool if we could find one REALLY good example of a cooking card so that the rest of the deck can support it. Right now though, we're getting a sizable list.
