This deck has just not been finishing for me. I like the deck and feel it's very good.

Disruption:
4x Mana Drain
4x Force of Will
2x Duress
1x Echoing Truth

Draw/Search
4x Brainstorm
4x Accumulated Knowledge
3x Merchant Scroll
2x Intuition
2x Cunning Wish
1x Demonic Tutor
1x Vampiric Tutor
1x Mystical Tutor
1x Ancestral Recall

3x Psychatog

1x Yawgmot's Will
1x Time Walk

1x Black Lotus
1x Mox Pearl
1x Mox Ruby
1x Mox Sapphire
1x Mox Jet
1x Mox Ruby
1x Mana Crypt
4x Underground Sea
4x Island
2x Polluted Delta
3x Flooded Strand
3x Tropical Island
1x Library of Alexandria

The whole reason I am starting this thing is because I am having a hard time getting this deck to finish games. I am mostly having trouble with slaver which is of course not one of my better matches to begin with. So I was wondering if anybody had any points about the deck or if the whole idea of tog is flawed.

First of all, welcome to this forum!

Second of all, you're deck list is missing a kill, which could be the reason why you're having trouble finishing with this deck, but it's probably a slip-up.

Third of all, this thread needs more content. You need to tell us against which decks you're having trouble against (not just slaver), what kind of testing you've done, why you weren't able to finish games etc. If you don't add more content a moderator will probably move this to the 'Improvement'  board (which isn't necessarily bad) or close this.

Fourth, I would read this thread.

Last point I will make is that you probably (like the above thread says) should be running Tinker + Darksteel Colossus + Tendrils of Agony, instead of Psychatog. Tinker > DC can be a quicker kill, can be cast early and is less easy to remove. Tendrils is a backup kill that can't be countered. I know this makes it more of a Gifts deck instead of a Tog deck, but unfortunately Tinker > DC is just that stupidly good. Other then that I'd probably try to fit in a Rebuild, which is a amazing Scroll target.

There are 3 cards that were basically restricted BECAUASE of tog.
Gush
Frantic Search
Fact or Fiction

All are restricted, but all will give you more bang for your buck when your attempting to swing for lethal.  I see the trops + Cunning wish, wich leads me to belive you've got the berserk on your wishboard.

Also Adding just Tinker + DSC into your tog deck will let you steal games

Lastly, You ought to be running Tolarian Academy.  again Tolarian Academy + Frantic Search =  Crazy Mana

That's just totally untrue.  Frantic Search was restricted because of academy, and it was never even run in GAT.  Likewise FoF was restricted because of mono U, not tog.

On the deck itself, I must agree with Sgt. Pepper,  Psychatog himself is extremely weak these days, he's vulnerable to blockers, rebs, and can't by himself win very fast anymore.
