Scrubs can win Moxen Too. My Win at YMG 3-25

So I don't sleep before the torunament and figured out that I need food and coffee to make it through the day. I go pick up Pat and Dave and we head over to my bank, then daves bank then to get BREAKFAST! We got breakfast at little place in my hometown Braintree but the Breakfast sucked. I had a Coffee and wasn't so tired and it was something to eat at least. I get to YMG and start filling out my awful deck reg and give Nate my drains so he can be 15 proxys. I ended up running this awful pile that I made at like 1am on saturday with a couple SB changes on site-

Not going to go into too Much detail since I didn't take Notes I took life Totals down and how the games ended. I don't remember much so post and tell me what happened if you remember and or if you took notes.

Round 1 Travis LaPlante - Merchant Scroll Gifts
Game 1: I forgot what happened we both Draw lots of cards but a Welder brings in Triskelion and then later on Pentavus and they were able to kill him before DSC could bring the beats.
Game 2: I get LOA opening on the Draw.
W 2-0

Round 2 Stefan - Merchant Scroll Gifts
Game 1: I muligan to 6 but I'm able to put a Welder on the board and beat down for a while he ended up Resolving a Gifts Ungiven and winning at 5 Life.
Game 2: I muligan to 5!!! and I go Duress take Brainstorm and all he has for Gas is a TFK. he cast TFK into 3 Mana Acclerations or 2 mana Accelerations and a land and then rips a Gifts off the top 2 turns later to end the game.

Round 3 Charles - U/W Fish Chailce + null rods I think....
Game 1: he gets chailce and Lions on the board and brings the beats. I don't find Tinker or Yawgmoth's will to recover and lose.
Game 2: He gets Chailce down for different amounts and Orims Chants me A LOT so I don't do much other than play Land go. He has Null Rod Early and locks me out of my Sol ring and 2 on color moxen. I find my Tendrils and wait to go mox mox mox into a Chailce so I can Yawg will Echoing truth the Chailce replay all the moxen then Tendrils him for the win
Game 3: He takes Damage off Citys and Welder beats. He doesn't find much and I massacre his board away when he has no hand. The next turn I untap and I'm at 18 while he is at 7 so I Rolling Earthquake for the win.

Round 4: Dan U/b/g Bob + Werebears!@#$#@! Also had Null rods
This deck was insane. it was Built really well and he played it perfectly.
Game 1: I draw and do the Island go. Ancestral Turn 2 into a turn 3 LOA and Draw A lot more cards than him. He runs a creature it my Pentavus cause he forgot my Goblin Welder was Active. Null Rod was also played on turn 2 or 3 this game too.
Game 2: I'm on the draw and get LOA. I draw a billion cards and Draw spells and then win when were both at 5 life wth a Huge Yawg Will. I had Rolling Earthquake but we were even the whole game and never got to use it.
W 2-0

Round 5 We draw since Were at Table 3 and figured from the standings that unless our Breakers get Raped we should make it in.

Top 8 Ian Muligan with "Bad" Merchant Scroll Gifts
Game 1: I get a Welder and bring Pentavus? in and beat him down for the win. I have a billion draw spells and get a Million mana. My opening was Pearl Sol ring tolarian. I had 2 Drains 1 FoW 1 Brainstorm 1 TFK in my opening 7. it was a crazy ass hand.
Game 2: I get a crazy good hand and I Jesters Cap him. He has B wish in his hand since I duressed him right before the Cap and Take Flame over Time Vault with the Cap. He ends up getting Time Vault and B wishes for Flame. I had like 4-5mana and FoF into Drain Shaman Land 2 other cards take the drain and have Drain + FoW backup so Flame doesn't resolve. Welder + Shaman Beat him down for the win.
I had Good hands to start but my Brainstorms and TFK's were INSANE. I was told I had Hacks on.

Top 4 Travis LaPlatne - Merchant Scroll Gifts
Game 1: It looks like he has the win witha turn 1 Ancestral and then on my turn he Brainsotrms into a Misdirection to take My Ancestral too. I end up getting Welder and Triskelion to be able to beat him down and then Pentavus joins in to make DSC no good and win the game.
Game 2: He combos off Really fast with Gifts and had FoW and Misdirections to protect it.
Game 3: I have a solid hand and get Yawgmoth's Will in my hand on my second turn draw. He cast a Gifts and never thought if my last card in hand was a Yawgmoth's will. I'm able to pull the game from no where with some more hacks.

Finals Joshua - Salvagers Oath
Game 1: I get Turn 1 LOA and Welder after a TFK from the Black lotus. I get another land and I figured why not Slaver him since he flipped DSC on me. I oath trying to see his deck since I'm holding a mox and can slave him again and if he gets a draw spell he would lose. I/he flips Salvergers and Black lotus is in the Yard with a Pyrite Spellbomb.
Game 2: He Tinkers for DSC I go Welder go with Slaver being in the yard off my LOA again. I take a hit from DSC then Weld it out for Emerald Slave him so I dump his hand and then on my turn Cast Jesters Cap. He doesn't rip a win condition and Cap does him in.

Really fun event and hopefully YMG does another. Duress were amazing and i think they may go Mainboard. Props for Slaver comming up on Top of a Heavy gifts metagame. I almost ran Grim Long but I was told / we thought there was a lot of fish with 4 Stifles main so I went with what I know. An awesome torunament and hopefully this isn't the last time I get to post a tournament win. Leave fixes for rounds if I messed up cause I really have no idea what happened other than my draw spells being Retarded the WHOLE day. they were amazing to me and thats why I run Japanesse Cards.

Me for getting pissed after the top 4 with travis since I wanted to leave and just wanted to do the 4 way spilt for 112 each instead of playing it out. I didn't sleep the night before and Breakfast sucked. I should have bought Pizza when they had it. A Lesson was learned though Don't let food or a lack of sleep screw over a friend its not worth it and you will/can get food later.
