I suggest a theme of strippers for the Strip Mine. It's punny, and (if they are hot enough) could possibly be distracting for your opponent .

I like the idea of the Diamond Mines a lot, if I had the ability to draw things besides Jewely and Flowers, I would do it. I once made a proxy of a Wasteland in like ten minutes for a friend of mine on the way to a to a tournament. It had a picture that looked a little like a Tolarian Academy with a crane tearing it up, it was pretty cool.

For the strip mine you could do a Stripper Mimes. You could even have them doing some stripper poses with an imaginary stripper pole.

Vroman and i played a game ( i used his deck/ he used his g/f's uba stax) and i have to say the alterations make for some interesting times. I caught myself just looking at the art rather than focused on the game. I've got a hand full of vroman altered cards in my deck and it does spice things up, when people see them. Some of the things he has cooked up in his VROMAN INDUSTURY'S LABS are quite interesting too.

I've done an Energy Flux(4th) that was altered with a Yin Yang in the background. The white portion has a wave of water coming from the left side while the black side has flames/fire. The card already has red on one side and blue on the other so it lends itself to the change rather easily. I've done the bottom and right side of the card with a black border but left the top and left side white to go with the theme. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=28694251&imageID=1445286776&MyToken=55268335-198c-4602-821d-586dc05bf715If you can't view it it's because you must be a member of myspace. But who isn't? LOL I have a closer picture on there as well but they are from a camera phone and the quality isn't very sharp. www.myspace.com/dr_tongue- Dr_Tongue

Hey, I have a question since this seems to be the post for altered card artwork.
I have 4 Tundras that have had the borders colored in with a Black Sharpie. Is there a chemical or an eraser that would work well enough to cleanly remove the ink without damaging the card?
Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thankyou.

I would just use an eraser. Tape the cardface first so you don't erase the art. Good luck with that.
