Hey all,

I am going off to college next year, and I will most likely attend George Washington University in DC. I am interested to know if any type of Magic exists within a reasonable distance of the area. So far, I've had no luck locating any (Type I or II), and despite the allure of GWU, it will be a long four years without any Magic. Some of the SCG tournaments are within reach on special occasions, but I'm looking for something a big closer and more regular. Anybody?

I guess politicians don't like to play mtg, who'd have figured.

The best place for regular magic in the D.C. area is a Dream Wizards in Rockville, MD. They however, have no interest in Vintage. Type 2, and Extended being the main constructed formats, but you will always find drafts going on. They also are the local DCI event team for any of the major PTQ's, or Pre-releases. More info available at www.dreamwizards.com.

Sadly, Richmond and Philly make up the DC Vintage scene for the most part.
