defroster
{R}
creature - wizzard
1/1
Whenever you play a red instant or sorcey spell, you may put a counter on Crazed reaper.
{T}, remove 2 counters from defroster; defroster deals 2 damage to target player or creature.
"what once would be lost, I can use to defrost"

note : maybe 3 counters instead of 2?

Dark brute
{B}{B}{G}{G}
Creature - Beast
4/4
when darkbrute is put into a graveyard from play, choose a number, then destroy each nonland permanent with converted mana cost equal to X.
" in life, it's a nightmare, in death, its far worse"

note : change power / toughness?

obsessive wolf
{R}
1/1
when obsessive wolf comes into play, name a land card, other than a basic land.  when the chosen land becomes tapped, obsessive wolf deals 2 damage to that lands controller.
" obsessed with the land, the wolf welcomes new prey"

Holy crap, never do this again. Don't put all those line breaks in your cards, and don't put the names in different sizes (both of which I fixed for you), and don't fail to read the rules (one card per thread unless they're a cycle).
-Matt

note : maybe make it any land, and 1 damage?
I was thinking a good card against mishras workshop, and bazaar.

Yes,Tarmogoyf is probably better than Chameleon Colossus, but comparing it to Tarmogoyf is like comparing your girlfriend to Carmen Electra - one's versatile and reliable, the other's just big and cheap.(And you'd run both if you could get away with)

It would probably be better if you started a discussion thread for each of these cards.  Also, please be mindful that we request a "current wording" be included with each card, to keep track of changes from the initial proposal.  I will make my commentary on all of them here.

Crazed Reaper - I really like this card.  It's hard to design metamagic for red, but I think that this card does it well.  If you want to up the activation cost to "remove three counters" then you could easily allow the 2 damage to be split between targets.

Dark Brute - I think that this card is a too powerful.  A 4/4 creature for four mana is not exactly bad, but then you have added on a no-activation-cost Engineered Explosives to it.  Black has plenty of ways of sacrificing a creature that it would not be necessary to have this die in combat.  It is simply going to sit on the table waiting for an opportunity for you to sacrifice it.  In that regard, it reminds me a lot of Angel of Despair, which costs {3} more than this does.  Although this is weaker than Angel of Despair in several ways (smaller, doesn't fly, requires another card to be really effective), the fact that this can also take out numerous permanents at once helps it regain a lot of ground.  I wouldn't consider costing this any less than 5 mana -- maybe {2}{B}{B}{G}.

Obsessive Wolf - I don't like this card at all.  It is an enchant land hiding in a creature's body.  Keeping track of which land this affects is awkward, because you're not going to leave the creature underneath the land card.  Your templating also makes it ambiguous as to what this actually does.  Do you choose a single land in play or do you name a nonbasic land and then all nonbasic lands with that name cause damage when they tap?  If you wanted to make this an enchantment, I could get behind it a lot more.  Psychic Venom never really belonged in blue to begin with.

Volcanic Curse
{R}
Aura

Enchant nonbasic land.
Whenever enchanted land becomes tapped, Volcanic Curse deals 2 damage to that land's controller.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

sorry about the mistakes Matt , although I am a forum whore, I am still a magic forum noob. I just didnt want to create 3 threads for this.

abut that wolf, it is more against multicolor decks, or combo decks.
if you say "mishras workshop" then every time a workshop becomes tapped, its controller gets 2 damage. so if there are 2 in play, its 4 damage a turn.

this counts for every non basic land, duals, pain, library, tolarian, etc.

Its a way of doing damage to combo players, with still having your mana available.

In that case, it costs way too little.  It is going to make one or more of your opponent's lands very painful to use.  Unlike Psychic Venom, you can play this on the land you want to hit before that land is even in play.  Furthermore, in the meanwhile, because it's a creature, it's going to deal additional damage through combat.

Now that you have explained the way that you want it to work, I would say that there's absolutely no way you can let it hit basic lands.  The way you want the card to work would probably be templated like this...

Obsessive Wolf
{3}{R}
Creature -- Wolf
1/1

As Obsessive Wolf comes into play, name a nonbasic land card.
Whenever a land with the same name as the named card [is tapped for mana / becomes tapped], Obsessive Wolf deals 2 damage to that land's controller.

I have recommended that it cost the same as Manabarbs.  It doesn't hit every land, like Manabarbs does.  On the other hand, this is almost never going to hit your own lands and it pings twice as hard as Manabarbs and it comes attached to a creature.  It may require adjustment, but I think that 4 is a good starting point for discussion.
