Ripped

Back on May 7th, I purchased 2 Bazaar of Baghdads on Ebay from a seller with several thousand positive and only a few negative feedback comments. I assumed that everything would go fine, just like the other 250+ transactions that I've completed.
I did not get my cards or much in response to me telling the seller that I didn't get them. In the last month, that seller now has 8 negative and 7 neutral comments. I filed a claim on E-bay to get my money back. Just wanted to see if anyone else has had any problems or knows the seller: moxking_com
If so, please pm me and let me know. I would also like to warn any would-be buyers to be careful.

Depending on if a credit card and/or paypal were used you have recourse albeit somewhat limited in both of those avenues as well.
I was almost screwed once and I was 1 step from calling my credit card company and demanding a charge back. The problem was that I was sent a fake card which is a lot harder to prove then not receiving anything. In my mind if a single card costs over $50 then you should be very careful about the transaction.
I also got screwed on a $5 transaction but didn't know the proper recourse methods at the time. That seller also had a great deal of positive feedback but couldn't get their act together due to a rift in the business or something.
Once I had a decent job I just found the best online dealer prices that seemed to be reputable (Troll and Toad) and bought the cards from them. When you buy from ebay, a less well known dealer or a very well known dealer you take a risk and the price of the cards generally reflects the amount of risk with well known dealers generally being more expensive but providing the product exactly as advertised.
IMO it is generally worth buying power from a well known mail order dealer or from someone in person so that you can inspect the card yourself.
Good luck and don't them steal from you without a fight. The chances are that if this guy had so many positives something may have happened to him because an account with that much positive feedback should have a good reputation.

It could be that his account was hijacked.
Or maybe the dude has fell into problems. I´ve seen this before on MOTL.
Good luck getting your money back. eBay/Paypal/your credit card company always give you the idea that when something goes wrong, you´ll have your money refunded in no time. In reality there are always these small letters that say that you´ve failed that tiny requirement and "I´m sorry, but we can´t do anything for you in this case, try going to the police, have a nice day"

You have something like 30 or 60 days if you used a credit card, and they'll just give you the money back if you satisfy requirements. If you didn't receive a package it's really easy, especially if you insured it, and if they are from the States it's similarly easy. If the guy is foreign and sent you a token package, kiss your money goodbye.
