Benefit tournament for Roland and Jacob...could you make it?

Hey guys.

You have all heard about the terrible theft that happened to Roland at Jacob at Neutral Ground this past Sunday.  Theft is, imho, the lowest act, short of murder, a human being can commit and it drives me mad that someone would do this.

You have all heard me speak out about how wonderful this type 1 community is at pulling together in times of need to show our support to one another.  I want to help in whatever way I can.

As such, since my specialty seems to be running tournaments (I've dabbled in such a thing), I would like to hold an improptu tournament this weekend, most likely Sunday, and most likely in Hadley(gotta call the store still).  This tournament would be just like any other power tournament, except that all profit would go to Roland and Jacob.  I wanted to do this prior to GenCon for obvious reasons.

If you are unable to post in this thread, please feel free to PM me as needed.

What I'd like to know is, since it is such short notice, would you be able to make it.  Please answer honestly, I'd perfer that I have an idea of how many can actually make it.

As for the tournement I can't make it that far up but i'll send a check with someone.

I'll be there.  No fucking question.  In this community, Roland and Jacob are both easily in my top ten of favorite people.  While I disagree with Roland's decision to leave that much money worth of cards in charge of someone else, it does not justify theft.

If I can find a ride, I'm in. If I can't find a ride, I'll send you a check. I'll know later today which one it'll have to be. Either way, I will find a way to help both of these guys, they are some of the most amazingly upstanding people in the Vintage community. They need our help.

I don't have one setup, but could use my personal one if you wish and than take it out of my bank account that it is linked to.
My only concern here is that some of this kind donation to Jacob and Roland would go to the evil Papyal gods.

I would be happy to transfer the money to them through that means, but I think check or some other means would ensure they get the full amount.
