Null Prophet
UW
Creature -- Prophet
0/4
Upkeep--Put a -0/-1 token on Null Prophet
Creatures cannot attack
Spells cannot be played
Triggered abilities will not trigger
Activated abilities other than mana abilities cannot be played

Is he still out there?

Here is my shot at a card. I was thinking about a walking Orim's prayer or Abeyance .I added an upkeep cost so that it will not be too broken.

I like the idea, but it does mean that you can play it on turn 2, and on turn 6 everyone can start playing again. I think its way overpowered because of this.

How about giving it a cu cost of 1 life? That would be more fair imo.

Yes,Tarmogoyf is probably better than Chameleon Colossus, but comparing it to Tarmogoyf is like comparing your girlfriend to Carmen Electra - one's versatile and reliable, the other's just big and cheap.(And you'd run both if you could get away with)

Is there any advantage to this other than...

Null Prophet - Sorcery UW
"each player draws 4 cards and may put up to 4 lands into play"
Lets cut to the chase

Also the "Triggered abilies don't trigger"  means that the Upkeep abilites (that doesn't seem to be worded correctly) would not trigger, and thus the card would never go away.

Lastly why include the part about mana abilites?  incase someone wants to burn themselve to death?  you essentially can't use the mana for anything.

This is basically giving a time walk to the player who plays it. a UW Time walk is overpowered.

B(1)AB(2)AB(3)AB(4)

It's at least a Time Walk.  You get to play whatever you want and your opponent gets 4 wasted turns.  You get 3 wasted turns and get the first real turn after the face.  You may want to trigger it on the opponent's upkeep so they get the first good turn.

Also, we don't use -0/-1 counters.  Try putting it into play with 4 devotion counters, and removing one on upkeep.  That's if this is workable at all, which I doubt.

So lets say that we word it so it properly fades out after 4 turns... which would require some "Triggered abilites of Cards not named Null Prophet"  wording...  Now were up to...

UW - Sorcery
Each player draws 3 cards and may put up to 3 lands into play
Take an extra turn after this on.

What if it was just one turn. Four turns seems too many.

When ~this~ comes into play, creatures can't attack, triggered abilities do not trigger and spells and abilities that aren't mana abilities can't be played until the end of your next turn.

How about choosing a non-legend creature? Otherwise he is a UG instant Wrath of Frog.

I think this card could be good in principle, but this execution is weak. Too heavy-handed (and also way too cheap). Let's let it do this same stuff, but not so ultimately. Also, I'll give it some sweet flavor text.

Null Prophet
{1} {W} {U}
Creature -- Prophet
0/3
Null Prophet comes into play with three devotion counters on it.
When Null Prophet has no devotion counters on it, sacrifice it.
{2}, remove a devotion counter from Null Prophet: Choose one -- counter target activated or triggered ability; or creatures target player controls can't attack this turn; or target player can't play spells this turn.
In the end, he practiced what he preached.

I lowered the counters to 3 so that he could use each ability exactly once.
