So, who will it be?

And also, who do you think will be rounding out the top eight this year?
,
I'll donate a Revised dual land to who ever guesses the most correct top eight players/

1 point per correct player in top eight
2 bonus points if you guess the correct champ.

Ready, go...

My money is on Andy Probasco for vintage champ.  He's going to seal the deal this year.

I think it will be someone on a team because, contrary to the results of SCG in which nonaffiliated people often win, Gencon has always had teamers win the whole thing.

Anyone who guesses me is in for a sore surprise, given I am not going and would probably not go even if I had the time off from work.

Roland has the karma built up to go 2 for 1, but I'm doubting it.  My money would be on TK or FFY.

Tommy sure has made a name for himself, hasn't he?  Man I still remember back in 2001 when my casual tradewind-Elves deck always played his casual Squirrel-Opposition deck in the fianls of our local 'type 0' tournaments when nobody owned anything.

My money is on Eric Becker or Tommy [TK].

I will personally pay hommage to anyone who crushes Franklin, DeMars or Fishalo!

One of the CRAP bros (does it matter which one?)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defamation_of_character

Quote
Under United States law, libel generally requires five key elements. The plaintiff must prove that the information was published, the defendant was directly or indirectly identified, the remarks were defamatory towards the plaintiff's reputation, the published information is false, and that the defendant is at fault.

Looks like we're 5 for 5, Steve.  Didn't they teach you about this in law school?

Anyway, I predict a Midwest-dominated top 8.  Soly, I won't make it my goal to knock you out, though, because I plan to go X-0-2, and unless I'm paired with you round 1, our paths will not be crossing.

[edit]: Is the dictionary wrong too?

Quote
li·bel   Audio pronunciation of "libel" ( P )  Pronunciation Key  (lbl)
n.

   1.
         1. A false publication, as in writing, print, signs, or pictures, that damages a person's reputation.
         2. The act of presenting such material to the public.

hehe,
you have no idea what you are talking about. Wiki citations are the worst, not only are they unreliable, but it instantly shows you have literally no first hand, or even second hand knowledge of what you are citing. Wiki for the lose.

oh, and you heard it here first,

Travis for the win (if he gets my power in time!)

*edit
on snap,
dictionary law definitions for the win!

If only I had know of this "dictionary" I would never have had to buy those expensive law books.
no, seriously, you can quote whatever you want but you don't know what you are talking about.

Wow...I'm not on even one list...how many mox tourneys does a guy have to win to get a little respect?

That's okay...I'll just terrorize the tourney and make everyones total points lower.

And, yes, thisis trash talking.

Kowal would obviously win if he was going, since the prize is Mox Pearl art, but since he's not, I predict that in a stunning, come-from-behind victory, the Vintage World Championships will be won by the New York Mets.
