I am moving in about a week and a half, and I don't know when the next time I will have the internet will be.  Here is Part 2 of the last two cards that I will try to get finished b4 then.

Prismatic Reverie
{X} {G}
Instant
Add X + 1 mana of any combination of colors to your mana pool.

Green is the ultimate mana fixing color, so why isn't there an instant that poofs a mess o' mana into any color?

I honestly think that just adding X mana of any combination of colors to your mana pool is way underpowered, but I think that this would be good enough in draft that it would warrent an Uncommon slot.  Either this needs to stay at X + 1 or cantrip or possibly a third option, like can't be countered or something...

CURRENT WORDING:

Prismatic Reverie
{1} {G}
Instant
Reveal the top card of your library.  If it is a land card, add two mana of any combination of colors to your mana pool.

Draw a card.

nice card in draft indeed. especially in blocks like ravinca or invasion.

I agree its not too powerfull. its nice, but not really a combo.

Yes,Tarmogoyf is probably better than Chameleon Colossus, but comparing it to Tarmogoyf is like comparing your girlfriend to Carmen Electra - one's versatile and reliable, the other's just big and cheap.(And you'd run both if you could get away with)

Would it be possible to make it a cantrip? Maybe cut the +1 mana thingy and make it draw a card instead.

Kinda like a green Chromatic sphere.

That was going to be my suggestion.

I really like the original version. It's like a zero-mana one-shot Joiner Adept.

I would much rather keep it as a "zero costing instant", but if noone else likes it, mebby we could add the cantrip and lose the +1...

Me thinks so too, but their already is Divergent Growth , which does pretty much the same. I think a Chromatic Sphere-version would be better.

It's rare someone mentions a card and I had no idea it existed! Yeah let's go with cantrip.

damn...

What about we do something crazy, something that maybe shouldn't be done, but let's try to push the limits anyways?

Probably. I think cantrips need to cost at least one mana. Otherwise, you end up with the Bauble-effect: All green decks are suddenly only 56 cards. Unless you want to make it "Draw a card at the beginning of next turn's upkeep.".

I like the one where you predict a land.

That one is my favorite too, because of the subtle wording that prevents it from being crazy.

At best, this gives you two mana and draws you a land.

At worst, this draws you a nonland and no mana.
