Ditching bulk commons-best methods?

I have a few questions about ditching bulk commons:

1. What is the length (inches or cm) of 1000 ct. card boxes?
2. Is it worth mailing in bulk commons or do you just break even after you ship such a heavy box?
3. What is the best place to mail in bulk commons or is there success to be had on ebay with this?

SCG buys 1000ct. boxes of commons for $6. It cost me $1 for the box, and if they don't pay for shipping. I may actually lose money, on the other hand. Does anyone have a better idea? And yes, I am considering just giving them away.

Sell them to random kid at the local store for $5.  They will freak about getting a thousand cards for less than the price of 2 packs.  Plus, they will actually use them.

Well it will suck that they get 10 of a card but no one can argue with that logic (and price) and they even get a useful box to keep it all in! I have to remember not everyone is a magic guru with cards coming out of their ears. I guess someone could use this stuff!

True. And if i recall correctly, with an inflation rate of in the millions, that wheelbarrow wouldn't buy him a bread (well, maybe the wheelbarrow would, but not its contents).

I once gathered a huuuge bunch of crap cards, and just gave it to a bunch of newbies...That was worth its weight in gold...watching them go through the cards Hehe.
