This tournament is open to everyone, however although Vintage Adepts are allowed to play, they are not allowed to win the prize.
The winner of this Bingo contest will receiver a full set of Power Nine proxies made, customized, and designed by a the Vintage Adepts. Some of the included Adepts who generously made proxies for this event are: Jacob Orlove, Ray Rollibard, Justin Droba, Andy Probasco, Ben Kowal, Brian DeMars (me), and Doug Linn. Even if you are not going to be present at SCG Boston, you are still eligible to win (we can mail out the cards).
Here is how the bingo game works.
Each player makes a three by three grid, with each square containing two names. If one of your players makes top 16 you get to check the box. So, each contestant gets to pick 18 names. A bingo is obviously if you have three connected boxes (vertically, horizontally, diagonally)
for example: an example of a box might look like:

The first tie breaker will be the number of bingo's you get.
The second tie breaker will be number of checkmarks you get. (you can get multiple checkmarks in a box if both of the players make top 16.

I should also specify that the Bingo board will be scored only by results from DAY ONE of the two seperate tournaments.

Wow, people are putting me and TK in the same box? That seems odd, given he and I currently have the best t8 percentage in vintage. I like the idea of putting me in the same box as Probasco though-- If I don't t8, it probably means I didn't listen to him, which means he has a much better shot than I do.
I'd run something like this:

Kowal, the only good reason to put you and TK in the same box is that, because of your high percentages its increases the chance of having a check mark in the middle (which opens up 4 possible connections, as opposed to 3 on the corners, and 2 in the middle of an edge).

The only questionable slot is God. On a tournament related note since I can't post in the tournament forums, I have yet to find a ride back from this. If anyone is coming home Sunday night through I90 in New York I'd be willing to drive/pay gas on the way. You might have to wait awhile though 'cause the finals for these things go until forever.
