Man, how'd my name get on there so many times?  Not that I won't top 8, because I will.  Here's my board:

Mr. Nightmare         that guy from Project Runway              Roland

terror                    Herbig                                               your mom

Jim McCarthy           God                                                 whoever gives me a ride back

The only questionable slot is God.  On a tournament related note since I can't post in the tournament forums, I have yet to find a ride back from this.  If anyone is coming home Sunday night through I90 in New York I'd be willing to drive/pay gas on the way.  You might have to wait awhile though 'cause the finals for these things go until forever.

I dont know if I should be flattered or insulted?  Anyway, I'm not going, and neither is my mom, sadly.  I hear terror has quite the deck though.  Lets see:

Ray R.                Brassman                Kowal

Paul M.               TK                       Arend

Roland                Dave Feinstein       Herbig

Two of my teamates had to drop out of going to this event at the last moment.  Therefore, I will not actually be able to make the drive out to Boston from Michigan on my own.

Sadly, I will no longer be attending.  Sad

What?  Lose the vagina, Brian.  You've made this claim every major tournament for like six months.

Just pound those double shot expressos they sell in the little energy drink cans and drive.

It's a thirteen hour drive. That's a long time.

Not to mention the outrageous price of gas for one person.  It's not worth $300 to attend a couple tournaments.

Its thirteen hours!  Blame Mark Biller.  He's the real Vagina.  He decided to hang out with his girlfriend and deep six the trip.  Also, something about 'work' what is that all about.

I've solo driven 13 hours before.  It's not that rough.  Just bring decent music, or find someone halfway down who's looking for a ride.

When I celled tommy last night, he had arived in Boston and was playtesting with the Canadian Group he ran into in his Hotel (he's the only ICBMer there), including Ugo.  He said he wasn't sure what he's going to play, but it will be either Gifts, Slaver, or a sekrit deck with drains.

Looks like Cross probably won. No one got bingo, but he got 4 out of the top 8 right.

I was under the impression that Top 16 meant Top 8 for Day 1 and Top 8 for day 2.
Perhaps we could let Demars clarify for us.

EDIT:  I didn't see Demars edit in his initial post, looks like you're right Nova.

Unsure why the criteria is top 16 from day 1 instead of top 8 from both days... but whatever.  Cross owns this by a mile either way.  Four of his picks made top 8 day one.  Congrats to him.

I don't think they can announce a winner until we have the top 16.  Sure, cross had 3 or 4 people top 8, but it's the 16 that count.  I think for day 1, I might actually have won.

When the top 16 goes up we will have an official winner and the proxies will be collected and sent out then.  Hopefully, we can all send them to one of the VAs, and all nine will be sent out together... So that the winner doesn't have to get 9 seperate letters over the course of time.

Also, I'd like to get the whole set together, scanned, and put up so that everybody can see and appreciate the handiwork that went into making these proxies.

Cheers
