Lim-Dul's Vault would practicly become a Demonic tutor at instant speed with this guy out. Im thinking

Rituals/Necro/Lim-Dul's Vault/Demonic/Childrens

Lim-Dul's Vault would basicalliy allow you to rearrange your next five draws to your perfection since you could scroll through as many times needed.
Well, you can't stop mid spell, so you could only really Lim Dul's Vault for a max of (your life -1).

This card would be great if it were say, black or green or something.  Being 1 casting cost is absolutely critical, but as others have said, there's already a critical mass of hate for white here.  This card is narrow.  I dunno.

Ok Im sitting here reading through 3 pages of the discussion on the Children & all three pages say the same thing "this is a good card for Deck X to use as a weapon against Tendrils"  Ok thats fine & all but how about using the dumb thing offensively instead of defensively.  Imagine with me for a moment a Tendrils deck that uses the Children in it.  The interaction with both Necropotence & Yawgmoth's Bargain is just SICK!!!  "I'll Bargain/Necro for 19.  Play a Children.  Sac it.  Gain 19 life.  Bargain/Necro for 19 more.  Play another Children.  Sac it.  Gain 38 LIFE. Win"  Come on people.  That suddenly gives me the ability to draw WAY more than my entire deck.  These little guys can draw way more cards than Illusions ever thought of letting you draw.

Just my thoughts on an interesting new card.

If you read my original post that began this thread, you'll see some references to the types of cards you reference above and there have been similar suggestions made throughout the discussion (like Lich).  Both Yawgmoth's Bargain and Necropotence are restricted so any deck based exclusively around them is destined for difficulty.  That said, I would consider that the Children probably have very exploitable interactions with Zur's Weirding, Illusions of Grandeur, Glacial Chasm, Channel, and Hatred.
