Mogg War Marshal

Creature - Goblin Warrior

Echo   (At the beginning of your upkeep, if this came under your control since the beginning of your last upkeep, sacrifice it unless you pay its echo cost.)
When Mogg War Marshal comes into play or is put into a graveyard from play, put a 1/1 red Goblin creature token into play.

Ixidron

Creature - Illusion

As Ixidron comes into play, turn all other nontoken creatures in play face down. They're 2/2 creatures.
Ixidron's power and toughness are each equal to the number of face-down creatures in play.
Illus. Terese Nielsen

1) The mogg is in play, I play my Ixidron, and the mogg is turned face down. If the mogg dies, does my opponent still get a 1/1 token? I said no, because it dies as a 2/2 colorless creature with no abilities.

2) also, are the creatures turned face up once the ixidron dies? I said no, because the card doesnt specify it.

3) one more question.

Norin the Wary

Legendary Creature - Human Warrior

When a player plays a spell or a creature attacks, remove Norin the Wary from the game. Return it to play under its owner's control at end of turn.
"I have a bad feeling about this."
Illus. Heather Hudson
2/1

Is this creature completely useless?

It can never attack, it can never block, but well, it never dies......

Or is there a way to attack? Its say, if A creature attacks, so that means any, which means the Norin always gets removed. Is this correct?

Yes,Tarmogoyf is probably better than Chameleon Colossus, but comparing it to Tarmogoyf is like comparing your girlfriend to Carmen Electra - one's versatile and reliable, the other's just big and cheap.(And you'd run both if you could get away with)

You are correct on one and two: A face-down creature has no abilities, and a face-down Mogg will not give its controller a token when it dies. Creatures turned face-down with Ixidron never turn face up unless they have morph or someone plays Break Open or a similar card.

Norin the Wary cannot normally  attack or block.

How about choosing a non-legend creature? Otherwise he is a UG instant Wrath of Frog.

Norin is useful with anything that says "Whenever a creature comes into play..." or "Whenever a creatures leaves play..."

I believe that Pandamoneum is a reprint. That should make a fun casual deck with Norin at least.

Someone actually had this at the Prerelease.  I watched a couple of his games, and I did not see him lose once he had it out.
