You know what irks me the most?
That MaRo had the audacity to taint the good name of the Rakdos by including a justification for HoFLong in their article.

This card is too strong for card selection at one mana. It would be pretty good at {1} {U}, I think.

Currently, the card compares favorably to Careful Study, Sleight of Hand, and is even better than Brainstorm without a shuffle effect.

Yeah, the cost should get the extra {1} by those standards. I designed this as a Brainstorm replacement, added the reveal as a drawback.

Remove the reveal, it's clunky and unnecessary. The card is quite elegant after you remove it.

Remove the reveal, it's clunky and unnecessary. The card is quite elegant after you remove it.

I'm quite tempted to put the card on top to allow for shuffle tricks and keep the cost at {U}.
