How are people actually bidding on them? I don't know how these aren't mind-boggling obvious CEs to everyone. There's no possible way that you could legally take them to a T1 tournament.
Btw, if you are a TO, how would you respond to someone playing one of these cards in your tournament?

I'd suggest everybody flood him with questions Here was mine; So when someone proves that these are all CE (and its obvious they are) even though you guarantee they aren't, what state shall the small claims suit be filed in?

My Question: Don't you find it convenient that the parts of the cards identifying them as CE have been conveniently sanded off? Your so-called guarantee doesn't mean a thing when your pictures tell 1000 words of truth. I mean, you didn't even attempt to hide the fact that you sanded the gold borders off. I intend to inform all your bidders that these are Collector's Edition, and urge them to take action against you for fraud. Good luck in court, scammer!

Someone can send this if they like: It is very interesting how on your cards the one side is not nearly as worn as the backside which is the real place to identify a CE. Real worn out cards would not be uniformily done so.
All aboard the logic train. Edit1: The bottom edge of the Emerald is in fact worn so clean it is ruler straight. Edit2: You can actually make out the Gold text mid card on the back of the Sapphire.

I just sent this Ebayer a long comment about how they're ripping off poor people that do not know any better when buying their Power 9 cards. I would post the whole thing, but I forgot to cut and paste it.
I also mentioned that the largest Vintage community on the internet is watching his auctions and there is a thread already about how he his a rip off artist.

Notice on a few others he conveniently placed his auction name right in the place where you'd see the gold text on the back. EDIT - His Reply to my message: Thank you for the interest. WTF?

I wonder if anyone would find it suspicious that this guy apparently has a set of Beta power, but every single card is worn in the exact same way, and apparently not from play, since the backs are white, and not dirty. I know I've never seen a legit worn card that looks like that.

I hate sellers like that. I submitted a fraud report:
Listing Violations > Fraudulent listings (illegal seller demands, you didn't receive item, etc) > You suspect that a listing is fraudulent you didn't bid
Item number(s): 130029891072 130029920090 130029921640 130029922192 130029922548 130029922912
Message: The following items are all of the Collector's edition (CE), with the gold borders and collectors edition sanded off. This is in direct opposition of the auction listing where they seller states they are NOT CE. These are expensive cards and I'd hate to see a buyer defrauded.
In fact looking at the Mox Sapphire back of card, you can see the beginning of the words "Collector's" edition.

I sent Ebay a Lengthly report also. Hopefully these items will be a thing of the past by tomorrow.
I also did mention the method of hand sanding the cards to rub off the words Collector's Edition. And also how it's rather a weird coincidence that all these cards are worn in the same unnatural way. There was also a paragraph on how to tell the difference between Beta and CE cards which all collectors should know.

I sent warnings to the top bidders of the Lotus and Ancestral, the Warning to the Ancestral bidder I had to write in Italian. lol.

Below are my correspondences with the guy bidding on the lotus. Looks like some people just don't get it.
I sent the folowing blurb to the buy bidding on the Lotus: the beat to hell black lotus you are bidding on is clearly a fake. It s a collectors edition with the gold parts rubbed off. Don't pay for this item. Fraud complaints with the seller have already been filed... You have been warned.
This is how he responded: Wow, I hadn't even thought that might be the case...I guess I'm just naive.
Thanks for the tip, it looks pretty suspect now I think about it more.

How do people not consider these things beforehand? Do people actually spend good money on things without looking at them first, or reading reviews? It would be like buying a TV without first either seeing a display in the store or reading reviews in consumer magazines...do people do that too?

did anyone notice that the only buyers that he had were Italian? Noone from the US apparently bought cards from this guy. And this is a pathetic attempt at even trying to hide the fact that these cards are CE. I hope this guy gets what's coming to him

Funny to see how everybody is concerned with these auctions. Once I cared too. I had a fake eBay account and I bid on these kinds of auctions, never paid and left negative feedback. Of course this account did last long, but it was fun while it lasted. Now I just donīt care. Let the suckers pay $x00 for something fake and learn a lesson in life. There are so many scam auctions, it isnīt even funny. You believe this guy, for example?
