Yes,Tarmogoyf is probably better than Chameleon Colossus, but comparing it to Tarmogoyf is like comparing your girlfriend to Carmen Electra - one's versatile and reliable, the other's just big and cheap.(And you'd run both if you could get away with)

Timeshifted cards in Planar Chaos are indicated by white names and type lines (see below).  They're included in the regular lists of colored cards and have normally colored (i.e. gold, silver, black) expansion symbols.  They're all exact copies of previously made cards except in different colors with complementary text.

For example, black's Funeral Charm became blue's Piracy Charm, and instead of granting swampwalk as it did previously, it now grants islandwalk.

thanks Lochinvar81 and  diopter, but I think I didn't make myself clear, enough forum speak.

Is there a spoiler available for the purple cards which came back in the set Planar Chaos? In time spiral there were cards with the purple symbol, like diopter gave me the link to, and they came in every booster.

I read that planar chaos also had purple cards, but I havent read any of the spoilers of these cards.

So either I am confused, and purple cards are Time Spiral exclusive or the spoiler isnt yet available.

thank you.

Planar Chaos also has Timeshifted cards, but they're not purple.  They're what I said above, "alternate reality" reprints with normally colored expansion symbols.

For some reason I cant figure out how to get this to work. Anyone feel like helping me out?

Step by step:
1.) Click on the "download mirror 1" link under "Pics full"
For reference, here is the link.
2.) Click on the set you want (if you want all the sets, you are going to have to spend a long time doing this).
3.) Another window will pop up, similar to this.
Wait for the the page to finish loading, then click the "Downlaod Here" link.
4.) You will be prompted to save to a folder - save the zip file to the "Pics" folder where you installed Magic Workstation.
5.) After the download is done, unzip the zip file. You can probably do this by right-clicking and choosing "Extract here" or "Unzip here". In any case, the thing to do is to make sure that the pictures are all in a folder with the same name as the original zip file (minus the extension, of course) and that all of the pictures are exactly in that folder and not in a subfolder.

Bad Wolf - thus far the only purple rarity cards are in Time Spiral. Planar Chaos does not purple rarity cards.

Im fairly certain that there won't be any purple cards in Future Sight either, I'm betting that it we will see 'pre prints', or cards that have to do with sets that won't be here for 1-3 years.

Ok, so apparently I suck at MWS.  So I downloaded the .txt file from mtgsalvation, but when i go to add it, it is'nt in the mws folder i put it in.

So then i tried to save it to the desktop.  then when i added it, it was found to add.  then it was in the master library, but when i tried to add cards to decks, it said it wasn't recognized.

Why do I suck and how can I not suck anymore?

On a non-MWS related note, the art to Piracy Charm makes it look like it would be decent as Proxy Mox Pearl fodder.

On an MWS related note, anyone know when MWS is going to "release" the set themselves (as opposed to getting from some third party site, I prefer just running the auto-update)?
