    3 Golgari Rot Farm
    4 Overgrown Tomb
    4 Llanowar Wastes
    5 Forest
    6 Swamp
    2 Mortivore
    2 Gleancrawler
    2 Sophic Centaur
    3 Hail Storm
    4 Stupor
    4 Damnation
    4 Harmonize
    4 Putrefy
    2 Gaea's Blessing
    3 Soul Feast
    4 Cruel Edict
    4 Golgari Signet
SB: 4 Extirpate
SB: 3 Persecute
SB: 4 Seal of Primordium/Naturalize/Krosan Grip
SB: 4 Hunted Wumpus

Ill start off by saying, I have no idea what type 2 is like so this list is probably horrible, but I'd like to get a g/b control deck that works well in the format if possible. What kind of stuff do I need to do well in type 2 for a g/b deck like this?

The big problem I see is that it looks like your finishers are weak.

Other items:

I would be tempted to run Extirpate in the main, Soul Feast looks truly awful (more on this later), Hailstorm may or may not deserve maindeck slots (you can Damnation on turn 3 with Signet, and aggro probably isn't going to be too popular with PC coming out even if it should still be good).  Additionally you have 4 Cruel Edicts + 4 Putrefy + 4 Damnation...  I think perhaps some more hand destruction is in order?  Or perhaps some other form of threat.  If you can find a way to consistently gain life, I think Phyrexian Arena could be strong here (I'm not sure how long Sophic Centaur will stick around).  Soul Feast seems awful since you can't hit creatures with it, hence I'm not a fan of it here.  Tendrils of Corruption on the other hand may warrent some action?  Especially if you end up running Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth.

Well I pretty much have no idea what type 2 really is like, it looks like a mixing of BDW, 3 duece (often mis labeled as zoo), and  a pile of blue control decks that vary in cards but usually have tron and some kind of angels, Green aggro and B/W dread return  variations ( i think this was called solar flare??).

All of the creature decks have game due ot burn or pump - which means i need life gain of some kind or ill die to burn easily, the centaurs are probably bad though.Perhaps add Consume Spirit in thier place and make it 4X

Mortivore is nice in that it wont die to burn or blocking, but with piracy charms and condemns around he might not be so hot.

As for extra hand disruption, I dont know whats good to run, does blackmail fizzle if they have less than 3 cards in hand ? Maybe brain pry ?

Moving the damnnations to SB might be good, then i can add extra threats - but what to add?

// Lands
    3 Golgari Rot Farm
    4 Overgrown Tomb
    4 Llanowar Wastes
    5 Forest
    6 Swamp

// Creatures
    2 Gleancrawler

// Spells
    4 Consume Spirit
    4 Stupor
    3 Persecute
    3 Hail Storm
    4 Harmonize
    4 Rolling Spoil
    4 Putrefy
    2 Gaea's Blessing
    4 Cruel Edict
    4 Golgari Signet

// Sideboard
SB: 4 Extirpate
SB: 4 Damnation
SB: 4 Hunted Wumpus
SB: 3 Krosan Grip

perhaps that? It runs roiling spoil, which can be a mini damnnation sometimes, and it can keep combo and control down on mana. Persecute is probably the best choice for discard yes ? Threw it main instead of SB. Added Consume Spirits

I dont know type two defintely pisses me off currently, losing to all kinds of bad black/white decks lately Sad

Havent been able to test vs decks that are good, just bad black / white decks with things like pluonic sliver or what ever he is, the one that puts slivers ontop of library instead of graveyard.Also MD Exripate...I really think this card will get banned with as many game wins / people bitching it will cause.

Im thinking lots of people will be running black..which sucks because the format might lose some diversity for a while.

Also Gleancrawlers suck hardcore, I read the card at realised it said "at the end of your turn" meaning that wrath or some such just owns it...so now I need 2 more cards that are probably win conditions for the deck...

Blackmail doesn't fizzle when your opponent has less than 3 cards in hand.

Funerel Charm could also be a card to consider running as discard, and then SB it out in games 2 and three for whatever is more approriate (more creature kill, or Persecutes).

You added Consume Spirt.  And no Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth to make everything make black?

    2 Forest
    6 Swamp
    1 Helldozer
    2 Skeletal Vampire
    4 Consume Spirit
    3 Stupor
    3 Persecute
    4 Harmonize
    3 Rolling Spoil
    4 Putrefy
    3 Gaea's Blessing

    3 Damnation
SB: 1 Helldozer
SB: 3 Hail Storm
SB: 4 Extirpate
SB: 4 Hunted Wumpus
SB: 3 Krosan Grip

Thanks for reminding me about Urborg, I've only seen people using it in legacy ( I play mostly legacy currently), but they use it just to throw it in the deck with no purpose. So I sort of blocked the card from my mind because everyone was being retarded about it.

I found gleancrawlers to suck, so I swapped to Vamps and a Helldozer.

Still not sure about Roiling Spoil, but it let me own a bad green deck today so it can stay for now.

Any body have any ideas how to improve on this list? Anything that I should 'absolutely' have and don't?

Just some quick thoughts;

- Win-conditions. You need them. Three just isn't enough, so I'd suggest running additional stuff that can deal 20 on their own. Choose whatever you like, but three creatures and four consume spirit just isn't going to cut it against half of the field.

- Gaea's Blessing. What the hell for??? It doesn't do anything and millstone was out of date back in 1998...

- Damnation x3 vs. Cruel Edict x4 doesn't stroke with me. Switch that around if you even want to run Cruel Edict at all (Teferi is also killed by Sudden Death and it seems to be a better choice).

- Rolling Spoil is cute against Vitu-Ghazi and such, but it kills all your bat tokens... so not great synergy with your vampire... I'd suggest moving these to the sideboard for some more versatile cards.

- Extirpate in the board. What for? Wrath of God doesn't hurt you because you only run three creatures... Martyr Tron isn't relevant anymore because nobody is going to run it with this card around.

- Hunted Wumpus? Just so your opponent can drop Teferi and lock you out of the game? What exactly does he beat?

Everyone hates on Gaea's Blessings.....

They recur my few win conditions, they put reanimatable dudes back in my opponents library and they draw a card. Also I've seen multiple Glimpse the Unthinkable decks on MWS lately so it has a benefit of helping vs that.

The Roiling Spoil was mostly added as mana denial vs tron decks, but with the added benefit of doing else something vs creature decks. Might not be worth having, or it might be a saving grace. Could become creeping mold or smallpox instead.

Damnnation. cruel edict and puterfy(you forgot that one) all kill creatures, but are they the best choices for the slots, I dont know.

Extripate is just something to try out, it might be crap or might not. It can permanently keep an opponent off Tron, it can get rid of all of a reanimate spell, it can reduce the amount of burn your opponent might draw. How relevant those things are I dont know, that's why its there to test with.

Hunted Wumpus was just an extra offensive slot in the board, I want to have some more offense vs counter heavy decks but Im not sure whats best.
