In the Worldgorger+ Animate dead combo, can youdeck the opponent with brainfreeze storm.  Does putting the dragon and the animate dead into play count as play spells?

No sir. The combo is just an arbitrarily large number of times removal and putting into play of several permanents.

Quote
Storm: Storm is a triggered ability that functions while the spell is on the stack. "Storm" means "When you play this spell, put a copy of it onto the stack for each other spell that was played before it this turn. If the spell has any targets, you may choose new targets for any number of the copies." See rule 502.30, "Storm."
In order to play a spell, you actually have to put it on the stack and go through the process for playing spells.

That's why you use braingeyser/stroke to deck them instead.

If the dragon player was comboing off with Eternal Witness/Ancestral Recall, then BrainFreeze might get them to zero cards, as Ancestral would actually be played over and over.

Unfortunately, they wouldn't deck unless mid-Bazaaring for some reason, or being targeted by your own Ancestral Recall.
