Here's an idea for a green 4-drop that's obviously a twist on Troll Ascetic...I made this because I think Troll Ascetic is too good, but at the same time Troll Ascetic is also very much the kind of card that Green needs. This twist on its untargetable ability is less unfair.

I like your idea, but, making it untargetable wont really make it all that insane.  For 3 extra, might as well give it the fulll Ascteic ability.  I also really like the regenerate ability, but, it could be cheap to regenerate itself just to pump it up.

I like the concept, but with sacrificing 2 lands, I feel like that cost should be free. You can look at it as a 6/6 for 4 with a definite drawback, which is entirely appropriate for green (Wumpus). I kind of agree on making it untargetable, but I can certainly see your logic.

What is the relationship between the two abilities?  Why put both on one card?

I think what he was doing was ultimately creating another Troll, just a twist.  instead of a normal nontargetable, he put a mana leak ability, and intead of just regeneration, he put the sac lands and counters.
