CARY, NC - 15 Proxy Type 1 for Twister/Drain/FBB Sea/More

DATE: Saturday, April 7th, 2007

TIME: Tournament Begins at 1pm SHARP. We will be starting on time for this event, so please be signed up with a decklist turned in by 1pm.

REGISTRATION: Registration begins at 12pm. Decklists with sideboards are required.

FORMAT: Vintage (Type 1) with 15 proxies allowed. All proxies should be on a basic land card and must include the name, mana cost, card type and all relevant game text. You can also follow Starcity's guidelines for making proxies.

ENTRY: Entry will be $20

PRIZE: Prizes are based on 21 people. The store is taking $40 to let us run the tournament for the day, so the remainder of the money will be payed out in full. If there are somehow less than 21 people... I will find a way to make the prizes we have work as best as possible... but there will always be 100% payout after the store gets $40. For each person after 21... the extra money will go to 5th, then 6th, then 7th, then 8th place... and then reset at 1st place after 25 people. For example... if we get 27 people... 1st - 4th place base prizes are the same.... 5th-8th gets ~$20 each in prizes and 1st and 2nd gets an additional ~$20 each in prizes. If you have any questions or if this isn't clear please let me know.

**UPDATE** $80 in CASH has been donated entirely for prizes to go to 5th - 8th prizes by 4 members of Arsenal. The prize stucture will remain the same, now with 5th-8th place prizes ~$20 each (cash or prize). I will continually update/add to the list of prizes you can choose from at the $20 level from now until the tourney.

1st place: Unlimited Timetwister
2nd place: Choice of English Mana Drain or FBB Italian Underground Sea
3rd place: English Mana Drain or FBB Italian Underground Sea (whatever 2nd didn't choose)
4th place: Revised Tundra and Force of Will
5th - 8th place: $20 Cash or Any Prize Listed Below (check for updates)

The losers in the top 4 will play each other (if there is no split) to determine who gets 3rd and who gets 4th. 5th-8th places will be determind by rankings after swiss and how you do in the top 8.

9th Place (after cut to top 8) will receive a foil japanese MPS promo Izzet League Island donated from Brandon Todaro!

Like I said, for each person past 21... each $20 entry will be added to the prizes. You can choose to get the $20 in cash or choose from one of the following (5th-8th place get priority on these, then 1st, 2nd, etc. if need be):
