How did mono black and TNT make it that far?

The TNT list has next to no disruption, and it dosn't look all that fast..

The mono black list dosn't look optimal either...and suicide hasn't been viable for quite some time now.

A Sui made top 4 in Milwaukee on Saturday.  Think about it--discard really can smash Long and Gifts.  There really isn't much Workshop in most places to make them run into big guys.  Shades and Negators are bigger than Meddling Mage.

I actually was thinking about just that, gifts has little to no way of recouping lost card advantage.....But on the other hand MisD targetting Hymn to tourach = GG.

On that particular version:
I can't see 4 racks as being good, ever. Though. (Yeah i realize they play it in T2 right now...that dosn't mean that its good!)
Shades are almost useless, most of the time they're just 2/1 for BB...that kinda blows Wink But i guess they work against fish?
Wastelands should be included aswell...
Confidant and wretch are awesome, why are they missing?

As i said...dosn't look optimal Smile

2 Drain Salvagers decks,  and 0 Gifts or Slaver in top eight.  That seems very interesting to me.  does anybody have a breakdown of how many of deck was present at this event by archetype?

Wow. No Gifts decks showed up in top 8. That is unusual for me to see.

Just for the record, Perramox tourneys use to be played in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere; so that means there's no hardcore competitive attitude.
I'm glad the Perramox series are back!
