While there are 8-man Qeues available for use, most Classic support is done by the ClassicQuarter as Player-Run Events (PRE's).

Here is the Season 2 Schedule so far:

Eternal Struggle 2.03      5/19/2007
Eternal Struggle 2.04      6/9/2007

Here is the Season 1 Results:

To join in the PRE's for classic (keep in mind, I've seen WotC employees hand around these to see the Classic format in action), type "/join classic" to enter the classic channel (also, people hang out there to get competitive testing in). From there, the TO will give instructions to join a results room to report wins and losses. Please also read: this article on the ins and outs of PRE's.

Just some more info on the Eternal Stuggle events that the CQ runs.

They are free to enter.
They are genearlly 4 rounds of swiss followed by top 8.
They are run manually with DCI-reporter.  No DCI #s are required, of course, just the software we use is the same.
They are bi-weekly, although we make allowance for online happenings - such as we try not to run one on the release weekend (such as June 1st).

And they are always a blast!

Another thing to point out about the Classic Quarter PREs is that, for a free tournament, there is always a pretty decent prize support.  In the past, there have been all manner of donated cards, and now with some sponsors online, the top four typically gets paid out in tix, with first taking in the area of eight.  There are also usually door-prizes for things like quickest win and first in swiss standings going into top 8.

I think it should be noted that Classic now has a weekly PE (Premier Event) on Sundays at 12:00 noon Pacific time.
