This group is hilarious.  The best is the one topic they have: "You know your man's a magic player when..."

1. he asks if we can move the wedding date because there is a PTQ qualifier on that day.
2. He talks about it in his sleep the wakes up to go start building a deck, goes to play on Wednesdays, Fridays, drafts on Saturdays, Builds decks on Sunday, Monday, and Thrusday, then Buys cards on Tuesday, Hogs the computer for decks listed on the net.
3. all of the shoeboxes under the bed are filled with magic cards and not actual shoes.
4. he starts using his knapsack only for magic and insists on carrying all his textbooks by hand.
5. he will sacrifice getting a hunch back for carrying around 10lbs of magic with him wherever he goes...
6. he randomly asks you for a pen and paper on the subway because he just thought of a new deck he wants to build.
7. he starts "flicking" all types of paper around as if they were magic cards.
8. he starts using your body while u are sleeping in bed as a surface to play on.
9. He starts taking it with him to the washroom, and, no matter how bad he has to to go, he will always find time to grab a deck with him to join him for the ride.

care to add to this list?

When I was in highschool, I would sometimes skip lunch multiple times and save up my lunch money.

Because food will only last so long.  Booster packs will last forever, and provide me with much more enjoyment than chicken nuggets.

So #10:  ...when he stops eating to further fuel his card-flipping hobby.

11: When talking about a change in any company (different group of friends/family), he refers to it as a change in the meta.

12: When anything good ever happens, it is responded to with "insane, keep"

13 (related to 12): Whenever a wrong decision is made, like in directions, it is described as "shoulda mulled"

What really sucked is when our school got all hi-tech or whatever and set up this debit system in which each student had an account and transactions were made by swiping your ID.  Was back to spending my own money on cards...

This actually happened to a friend of mine, we were driving and he looked at the road and shouted "omg!" because "Main Drain, Flow" was written on the street, but he had read it as "Mana Drain, fow".

I do, but only when around magic people. Using it in real life is like saying L-O-L Sad

To be fair, I use poker terms, and sports terms alot to describe things. Keep up the bad beats is currently my life's story.

Wow, I think 7 or 8 of those 10 are completely true about me.

On the lingo topic, I was at my girlfriend's house last weekend and her mom was making dinner, so my girlfriend calls out and asks "how's it going?", to which the mother responded "Not well, i definitely punted."  I couldn't help but laugh to myself, while my girlfriend and her friends just looked at me and wondered why.

Am I a complete idiot?  I signed up for Facebook to look for this, but can't find it in the Groups search.  Eh?

EDIT: Never mind.  This Group is hilarious.

'An' comes before words that begin in vowel sounds.  Grammar: use it or lose it

Someone I know does that, I feel like hitting him every time. Thank god he hasn't been to magic in a while.
