I won't be there. Most of GWS will be skipping GenCon. SCG events are way better. There's no reason to go to GenCon if Magic is the most important thing there for us.

Aye, Gencon has never sucked and it certainly won't this year! I'm up for organizing a 21+ night out in Indianapolis if people are interested. It really hasn't been done and 4 straight days of cards is mind numbing. Takers?

I'm up for suggestions. I like Saturday night after the champs and Thursday night to kick-off the event. My experience with Saturday is the champs sometimes ends after 2:00AM and that doesn't leave enough time at the bar or to hang out.
It's been forever since we all kicked it. Last year during the finals Steve was video taping the final match and I all remember was laughing my ass off as he told Atog jokes and listening to F*cking Lou party! That was definately a highlight of last years Gencon. Steve, have you watched the tape - did you get any material recorded?

Damn Scott you forgot all about me when posting who's going to Gen Con. I will definately be there chilling with the Colorado Crew. The 21+ night I will however have to decline seeing as how I am only 18. If we find a restaraunt style place that serves beer I will be down to go. I hope to meet some good vintage players down there and maybe take home a huge Mox Jet. |
