Lorwyn will be legal!
First through fourth place will split cash (50-30-10-10 if you play it out)! 100% of the entry will be redistributed, which means the more people who show up, the better the prize support will be! Tell your friends, tell your neighbors, tell your friends' neighbors. I will buy dinner for anyone who gets their grandmother to show up and play (sorry, grandma still has to pay for herself)!
There will also be a system (blatantly stolen from Myriad Games) wherein if you write a quality tournament report with the store's name in the title and information in the body, you will be able to choose from select quality foils and special cards as a prize!
This is the first tournament at the Gamers Lounge in more than six months, so let's make it a good one!
More information will be posted as the day approaches.

We're down to a month away on this, and it will be amazing.
Tchotchkes for everyone (I got a signed Antiquities Energy Flux last time I was there!) and cash prizes for those who place in the top four.
These tournaments are a lot of fun, and we're looking to make them even more so. Come out and show your support!

We haven't had one for a while, unfortunately. Generally, there have been 16 or so, but everyone extra who comes just means more money in the prize pool! I know Twaun will be driving out from Toledo, and Ray is probably trying to come out from Michigan, so you might be able to find a ride and reduce the cost.
Honestly, bring a bunch of gamers and it'll be an awesome time.
PS: There is an Olive Garden in Sandusky.

Since the official Lorwyn release is the night before and it looks like there might be some interesting Vintage cards in the set, we've decided to make Lorwyn legal for this tournament.
Lorwyn will be legal.
Dave, the owner of the Gamers Lounge, says they'll have Lorwyn in stock, and if they don't have the card you need, it's infinite proxy anyway! So let's get out there and Thoughtseize some Gaddock Teeg. Or something.

This is down to a week away! Hooray!
Just wanted to point a few things out, though:
1) Lorwyn will be legal, and the store will have cards in stock
2) Everyone gets to pick a card out of the premium binder just for entering
3) Anyone who writes a tournament report with the name and address of the store gets another premium card
4) The store is an hour from Cleveland and Toledo, two hours from Detroit and Columbus, three hours from Dayton and Pittsburgh
5) Cedar Point is still open in case you scrub out or want to spend Sunday there (it's Halloweekends!)
We're really hoping to do this on a regular basis again, but that means we need good support. Come on out and have a great time!
