Karmic Guide Tokens and Engineered Explosives.

I was under the impression that the copies you make of karmic guide using kiki jiki were considered to have a converted mana cost of 0. I was ruled against recently at a small level tourney because some one claimed a judge had ruled that kiki jiki copies the card including the converted mana cost... So when I blew an explosives for zero in response to his declare attackers it did nothing but nuke my one mox. What's the correct ruling here? I'd love to get it from a judge.

The tokens created by Kiki-Jiki are copies of the target.  Mana cost is copied along with the other printed characteristics, so the tokens in this case have a CMC of 5.
