Hey Andy, how did that Encroach tech work out for you in the sideboard? I guess you brought that in against Ichorid. In theory, it seems pretty damn hot on the play, as it should net you a double-time walk. Did it work out as planned?

Probasco's sideboard plan was fairly classic, August kept a one-lander with some gas and a single flooded strand.  Andy keeps and encroaches...August looks at it, looks at his hand and slams it on the table.  He never got to pull it out on me in the swiss though...

On a side note, I have pics which I'll be posting hopefully tommorow, wasn't a huge turnout, but a lot of good people.

Yeah, I am really bummed about missing this. The moons aligned just badly so apparently a good chunk of the metagame was absent. Becker, in the future send me a PM about missing cards. I probably could have helped out.

I guess see everyone in NC. Hopefully, Brandon doesn't get discouraged and keeps it up for ATL. They are well-run events in a good location.

Encroach pwned my face so hard. Although I really should have mulled that hand anyways, but to some extent that's what I get for not playing for like three years, and it's not like it wouldn't beat up a 6 card hand too. In any case, props for the proxied Encroaches! Card is some serios loltastically svg tech.

Anyways, good games all around. It was great meeting people. Pretty tough driving from Nashville and arranging all of that, but if this happens again I think I'll try to make it.
