Help Me Make My Dream Creature: Part 2.5

Now that we have figured out the templating and proper abilities of my creature, it's time to get a bit deeper into things..

At the beginning of your upkeep reveal the top card of your library, lose life equal to it's converted mana cost; all other creatures get -X/-X where X is equal to the life lost in this way.
Whenever a creature is put into the graveyard from play, gain 1 life.

Now we need to decide what kind of a creature this baby is.

I think the absolute strongest is overpowered at 4/4 and weakest is a 1/1, however, I'll let the community be the judge.  The poll will run for 3 days, during that time you will be able to vote on 2 options (preferably 1 power and 1 toughness).  After that time the poll will close and we shall see what the final outcome is.

I could see 1/3 or 2/2 pretty easily, maybe even 1/4.  While it's definitely BW, the ability is predominantly black.  It's also possible that I'm underestimating what Gold adds to the cost of a creature and that it can be 2/3 on its own.
