I saw this 2part miniseries with my friend Sarah, and it was Frakkin Awesome.

If any TMD'rs haven't seen any of BSG, its pretty cool. I watch and re-watch episodes on DVD all the time.

The last time I watched TV regularily (other than The Daily Show, or The Colbert Report, or SNL and some such was in 1990ish.)

If you don't watch BSG because you are out of the loop, one of your friends probably does watch this. So, borrow their DVD's of Season 1 or 2.0 or 2.5.

3.0 isn't out yet, and 4.0 is next season.

Razor was pretty cool.

Nice, I actually just started watching it on DVD. I haven't seen a whole lot yet, but so far, it seems like a really cool show, much darker then your general space-based sci-fi show. On a sidenote: Season 4 will be the last right?

That would be a "no".

The Sci-Fi channel "re-imaged" BattleStar Galactica, and it's awesome.

Yes, the show is pretty dark (people die all the time.)

Season 4 will be the last, so as to end the series on their terms (ie, conclude the story).

I stopped watching when season 3 ended, it's almost time for season 4!!!  I don't see the show on Sci Fi, when do they run it?

The first link is a "fan made music video" dealing with Season 3 Episode's 1-4.  If you haven't seen the show, it won't give anything away, other than the humans live to see episode 5.

Sarah and I saw Razor on the Big Screen Advance Screening because we are awesome.

The Razor 2-hour special plays on say, Nov 24 on the Sci Fi Channel (that post-ThanksGiving weekend), but the season 4 proper starts up Jan or Feb 2008. Writer's Strike, you know?

The DVD of Razor comes out Dec 4th (I'll get it) extended and unrated. (think: Shooting a 10 year old girl in the head at point blank range. And that's by a protagonist! and that's the rated version...)

I loved season 1 and 2, but 3 was so so. Still, it get's more interesting at the end of season 3.

I've never seen the original BSG though. But from the sound of it, it's totally different.

The orignal is pretty good.  I didn't like the fact that aliens existed in the original, I'm glad they stayed clear in the re imagined series.
