With Memory Jar, at EOT, people get some priority to do stuff after ditching their Jar hands (since there was a trigger resolving).

When I say, put 7 cards from Necropotence into my hand of 4 at the end of my turn, and I had Brainstorm in hand before those new 7 got into my hand, can I cast brainstorm with my 11 cards to optimize my hand/draw?  Could I say, Quicken-TimeTwister if I had the mana availiable?

Oracle text: Skip your draw step.
If you would discard a card, discard it, but remove it from the game instead of putting it into your graveyard.
Pay 1 life: Remove the top card of your library from the game face down. Put that card into your hand at the end of your turn.

On reading the Oracle text, it seems that I can, much like with Jar, but I don't recall anyone doing such stuff with Necropotence in my 3+ years of tourney play.  I wanna be sure about this.

Thanks in advance!

Sure. You can play spells before moving to cleanup.

slightly related question.

I draw a bunch of cards of Necropotence, DarkSteel Colossus is among them.  If I discard Colossus, can I somehow shuffle it back into my deck instead of put into RFG due to both cards having a replacement effect?

Necro: If you would discard a card, discard it, but remove it from the game instead of putting it into your graveyard.

At the time I thought I could shuffle it back in, but upon reading the Foil Necro wording, I had doubts.

Thoughts? (I agreed with RFG DSC, but I have a lingering doubt...).

Darksteel Colossus and necropotence are both replacement effects. The controller of the effects decide which applies, so yes, you can reshuffle it.

I'm actually skeptical about being able to play cards from you 11 card hand. As I always understood it there was a lose of priority that occurred when you got your +7 to hand. I could be wrong but if some one could clear this up for me I'd be thankful.

After a spell or ability resolves, both players will get priority before the current phase/step ends.  So you will always get priority during the end step after the final card from Necropotence is put in your hand.
